Ok, so here's my short-ish take on the FB movies: there are good ideas in there, but the movies are written like books, not like movie scripts. CoG would have been a thousand times better had it been a novel.

The trailer looks good, but other FB trailers looked good too, a good trailer does not have to promise a good movie. I suspect FB3 will be much like CoG: interesting ideas that are glossed over or rushed or made into boring exposition scenes right before that information is supposed to be relevant.

The biggest blunder they can make with this movie is if a movie called "Secrets of Dumbledore" has barely any Dumbledore in it, much like the movie called "Crimes of Grindelwald" had barely any Grindelwald in it, nevermind his crimes.

So. Mads Mikkelsen is Grindelwald now

    I like it

I've always loved Jude Law as youngish Albus. Just wish we had more goofy ass robes and less vest suits. Really more robes at all is one of my bigger needs in all the HP flicks

Bowtruckle bro is still adorable. Giant scorpion tail (manticore?) is horrifying. And that trailer has the most attention Dumbledore has paid to Hufflepuff... Ever.

Trailer looks pretty good. But I kind of fear that they will make the same mistake like in COG.

Too many characters and not enough focus on Dumbledore, Newt, Grindelwald you just don't have enough time in a movie for this.

Imo this would be great as a tv series or books. One can really tell that there are so much more ideas for the characters and Story but not enough time to flesh them out.

Really wished that the series started when the streaming Wars started and this would have gone to HBO Max. Or that they atleast would cut out characters like Credence who waste to much time.

I am still pretty excited for this and think this will atleast be a big step up to Crimes. I really liked the first one and even enjoyed Crimes eventhough it is a mess.

This will be the make or break for the series and I hope people give this another chance.

Though I am not that hopeful, this movie is a absolute marketing Nightmare and people are not that hyped.

Hope we will see the end to this series.

It's difficult to take these movies seriously when Credence exists. Trailer looks good though, and Mikkelsen is my favorite actor, so if nothing else I know that will entertain me.

Did not watch the previous movie at all; will likely watch this one though, pending reviews. If Dumbledore and Grindelwald actually have a role to play, that is, and not 15 seconds of screentime.

    Dear Warner Brothers,

Please include in this movie a Penised Individual and have them self-identify as a woman just to make JKR rage.

And the Academy Award for Best Actor goes to Nicolas Cage.

Well, maybe not, but if Matt LeBlanc can get a Golden Globe for playing himself then Nick Cage should too. Even if I expect that the movie will waste its potential.

I didn't know I wanted a beauty and the beast anime musical remake set in the metaverse. But I am hyped. And can't get the millennium parade song out of my head.

Batman, Top Gun 2 and FB3 are the top of my list for 2022 so far.

This is the first trailer that has actually made me not excited for this.

Nightmare Alley is excellent, every bit the tense, grotesque film you might expect from Guillermo del Toro turning his hand to not.

Is it me or dinosaurs are worse than in the original movie from 90-ties? Like they're weightless in some scenes.

This is business as usual though. The Jurassic Park movies have not tried to do anything original since the first film.

People don't watch them for plot. They watch them for big dinos.

I absolutely love the Jurassic Park series, don't mind stupid shenanigans about "let's make the murdersaurus invisible because it'll be funny" or anything like that

But this feels like a weird split between "ten years on and things are new normal" with the cowboys, and "whoops the apocalypse is still ongoing" with the drive-in cinema.

They still need to answer how the heck a few dinosaurs are causing any kind of global problems. There were nowhere near enough dinosaurs released to cause the kind of problems the movie is trying to portray. Helicoptors with missiles could take out basically any dinosaur, so I am going to need a very good explanation for that.
