This has to be one of the more accurate representations of Hermione that I've seen.

 

Her hair is so wild that the red part of her sleeve got caught up in it.

 

This is the cutest thing I've ever seen.

 

The films would have been very different if they were done by Pixar, that's for sure.

 

If they ever do a reboot of the Harry Potter films, animation might be the way to go. So many options with special effects, and no one complains about the new actors.

 

I would definitely watch that, but maybe they should give it a decade or so before trying it. Hopefully that would be long enough for the industry to get past it's current phase of producing didactic socio-political lectures, thinly disguised as "entertainment." Nothing ruins my enjoyment of childhood favorites quicker than seeing them subverted in order to preach at me, which is exactly what I would expect to see if they made this today.
