I have been thinking who is the most attractive girl in Hogwarts/Potter verse and immediately thought of Fleur or Daphne or Tonks Or Lily or Narcissa or Bellatrix but then I saw Pansy actress playboy photoshoot so I'm gonna go with Pansy. If Pansy is gonna grow up to be like that I'm gonna start shipping Harry/Pansy.

 

I feel like objectively, Fleur has to be the answer. She has a supernatural edge on all the others.

Tonks in theory could match her, at least in purely physical terms, but it appears that she does not generally use her powers to increase her attractiveness.

But subjectively, I prefer Ginny. We know she's very attractive - see the Slytherins discussing it in HBP - and I prefer her down to earth, practical, somewhat forward nature. It's just a pity that so much Harry/Ginny fanfic is just saccharine sweet fluff.

 

There is a canonical answer to this.

 

The Potters only had one girl, so there's not much choice.

 

I would agree with you but can't really picture Ginny as attractive after seeing her actress.

 

In the books, she is described as 'pug faced'. I wouldn't really go with her. Ginny is far better - as it's already been said, she is practical, straightforward, and most importantly for Harry, doesn't easily succumb to tears.

 

And a boring fangirl yawn monster in the chest indeed.

 

I though this thread was about 'the most attractive girl', not the way JKR wrote romance (yeah, I know Harry's chest monster was terrible).

Besides, Ginny's personality is better than most of the girls in the HP universe. Also, she can be funny. Take a look at this from HBP:

 

Potter girl? Is that something like a Bond girl? Bond did it better Imho.

Movie character appearances are mostly decided by the director and makeup artists and I thought they did a bad job with Ginny. I think of her as a cute and athletic redhead. But none of them are really my type. Maybe some versions of fanfic Luna come close. I do like the older Ginny as seen in some nextgen fics. I'm too old to pay much attention to teenagers.
