Unrelated: They locked Ramuh and Leviathan behind save file access, which is super fucking annoying. Got Levi cus it needed demo file, but Ramuh needs Intermission DLC, which I never played. And he's the main lightning summon. T__T

Seriously the decision to make him waffle on nonstop after every intel collection (which comprises the vast majority of open world side content) was a horrible choice. Almost through Corel and I'm so gd sick of him. I'd much rather have heard from the party members about the world.

 

Finally getting close to the end. Rebirth really is an absurdly long game. Took a break at Ch12 as that's when the full world opens up and there is way too much side content available all of a sudden and I was overwhelmed.

Just beat Gilgamesh's Island and Holy Shit those double summon fights were hard on dynamic. Odin and Alexander took me 3 solid hours.

I'm glad the devs have taken a stand on the Clerith/Cloti debate. Really wasn't expecting the skywheel scene with Tifa in a Japanese title.
