    It's been a few months and I think I speak for everyone when I say we made
    a few mistakes earlier this year.

    We lost a lot of people, a lot of them bad, no doubt, but I think we got rid of
    someone who did more good for this site than bad and got caught up in something
    he maybe didn't understand and perhaps even feels sorry for.

    I speak of course, of Taure.

    Taure was a crazy British mother fucker, a limerick master and pretty humorous on IRC:

    It was silly British humor XD.

    I've even heard he's regretted leaving DLP and joining up with RC. He had a falling out with BMM and Yarrgh awhile back and expressed explicitly wishing he hadn't left. I think it wouldn't be too much of a stretch and I think it would do a lot of good to invite him back. Hell, RC would lose a valuable member and we'd gain one of our best debaters.

    Someone needs to serve as a balance to Xiph0.

    I've spoken with the admins and they've given the go ahead to ask the community what they think. Don't just automatically berate Taure. Remember what he used to do for this community. The limericks in the introductory posts, the annoying Xiph0 with Christianity, the quirky British/Austin Powers attitude and let's not forget why we're here. To enjoy fanfiction and I think Taure enjoys fanfiction as much as us, is as intelligent as us and he's a pretty good looker to boot.

    If, and I assume everyone will want him back, I have this to say to Taure, who might read this:

    Come back, bro. Xiph0, Bio and I have been jackasses but that's because we're jackasses. I can't speak for them but I can speak for myself when I say I think you've been good for this site. Please come back. Yarrgh and BMM don't deserve you.

    Taure left too? Wow. Pretty weird.

    Can't recall any direct interactions with him, but I do think he deserves credit for toughing it out here. From what I have seen, he's also a decent guy so I don't think it would hurt to welcome him back.

    At approximately 7:19PM, British Standard Time, Princess Diana... err. Wrong year. At approximately 7:19PM, the Rt. Honorable Taure was unbanned and cleared of all charges against the state and admin.

    I'd like to be notified if I was left out of yet another uber secret meeting b/c, I wasn't asked for any sort of input.

    If asked I would of supported keeping gone any of the cowards who plotted and schemed the DLP assassination attempt of 2 admins, and showed that they weren't worth the KB's their posts are displayed in.

    I do find it amusing though, that some of the folks praising that little nit, were some of the most vocal against him and the group he was a part of.

    Rob at least gets credit. He was always a weirdo who liked to hang with his "students" in a rated G environment. He didn't come here, like it, revel in DLP's uncensored nature, then cry and bitch and plot when he saw something he didn't like. He came here, was midly uncomfortable from then get go, and THEN cried and bitched, etc. At least we knew where he stood from the word go. And he gets credit for being one of two ppl involved that actually took responsibility for the whole deal.
