DLP's Server Gets New Upstream Bandwidth

    Just last night my host installed several new bandwidth providers, while dropping Cogent (which is where I and many of you were routed through). Cogent was the source of slow page loading, network downtime, and ping timeouts on IRC. Already I've seen and felt a difference. Hooray for better network!

    MAYBE THE NEW SERVER SHOULD HAVE ANTI DCC PROTECTION SO I CAN USE mIRC?

    It's actually to do with your router, not mIRC. I'm not sure about a fix.

    Nice. The ping timeouts were starting it get pretty bad lately. People who didn't normally timeout were.

    It's not a new server provider. Just my provider bought new bandwidth. The new ones are, XO Communications, NTT, Global Crossing, and a lot more.
