But there are enough clues in what's written to come to a few conclusions. Like the mention of him as a "guest" and "school friend". To me, that means he went to the same school and probably Rupert didn't even like him that much. Or at least Rupert liked the victim better. And then there's the alleged statutory rape mention from last year for this guy. "Joshua Lodge, 19, had denied a charge of sexual activity with a child in September last year." True, that could also just be bitches saying shit to get this asshole in trouble. Certainly can't tell from this blurb.

From what it sounds like these two were drunk and caught having sex. So some fucktard (look at his picture, he's a hundred percent fucktard) is on a list for two years. It's probation where you don't have to go anywhere or do anything. That's it. No community service. No checking in with a probation officer or limits on leaving the country. It doesn't even go down on his 'permanent record.'

It also means no job. No job means no money. Seriously, having your name put on the Sex Offenders list in the UK is the end of your life. This guy has the benefit of having his name taken off after two years, so he just has to hope that his name doesn't crop up in the national press, which like to run "Name and Shame" series, where they take names off the Sex Offenders list and publish them (the list is public).

 

19-15 would be more along the lines of a guy 1 year out of highschool banging a Freshman, although I'm not sure how it works in the states/US I think it would be closer to that. Not a 2 year difference.

 

Actually, Darius, the Senior/Sophomore thing could conceivably be right, if the Senior was one of the older seniors, and the Sophomore was particularly young. Myself, I hit 19 less than a month after the end of the school year. One of my classmates was either 16 or 17 at the time (I forget which, but I believe it's the latter), so it stands to reason that she could have easily been 15 in Sophomore year.

That said, as a 19 year old, I probably wouldn't bang a 15 year old, and not just for legal reasons. Other college students (the ones under the age of 30, I mean) are generally more attractive.

 

Hmm, well I'll be 17 when I graduate and I haven't skipped any grades and won't graduate early. So If the Senior in question Failed and banged one of the young Freshman...

 

Darius, if one of my friends (he's about half a month older than me, if I remember correctly) banged one of the younger sophomores at the very end of Senior year, it would be a 19 year old having sex with a 15 year old. Just because the girl is fifteen does not automatically make her a freshman. Towards the start of the school year, most sophomores are 15. Towards the end, while most sophomores are 16, there are some that are still fifteen.

 

I don't like Rupert Grint; but, if I threw a party and someone did all of that shit during it I would consider it grounds for their permanent removal from my social calendar.
