Would it be wise for me to sell all my infra (about 120 or so), land, tech and pass whatever money that comes out of it to an alliance member, then deleting my nation and creating another while hoping to get a better resource combo?

While I'm not a member of GOD and this more of an assumption than anything, I'm pretty sure they loathe and blame GGA more for the destruction of VE.

And besides even if they did hate GOONS at one point, shit happens and relationships between alliances happen all the time. CN's politics is unpredictable and I highly doubt that GOD envisioned that they would someday be allied to GOONS and fighting in this war.

Personally, I want to stop my hiatus from CN and join GOD to fight in this goddamn war, but I can't... Goddamnit, they won't allow more than one nation per IP even if we're related.

ES may have been warmongering, but when he warmongers, I try to get out of his way; unless you really oppose what he's doing are for some reason are interested in getting in a 10 against 1 war, you get the hell away from him. I do understand the honor portion of it, but... There's no honor amongst the fallen. Good war though; sorry to see that you had to pull out, even if we were on opposite sides. I wasn't too big on that after just having gotten out of one from ONOS.

Aye, we got dogpiled hard, outnumbered 7 to 1, most of our members tripled up on defensivley, while alot only did 1 offensive war. We had, I think 3 complete bullshit bandwagons, as one of the stronger, yet still a manageable sized UJP alliance, we presented a target that couldn't be passed up.

Stuck fighting defensive wars blow ass and limits what you can do, but we hit NoV hard as hell, and most of our NS drop was A)War buffed NS, and B) members leaving to either rejoin VE, rejoin another prior alliance that wasn't involved in the war, or C) Some of our IBC mergees bailing out.

We mostly ignored 3 of the bandwagoner's, ONOS choose to mostly hit only the already uber low, or inactive players, so they really didn't get harmed much.

Overall, only the uber low folks got hit hard, the top 20 got hit, but we'll be rebuilt in under a month like it's nothing, on top of rep payments.



Sponge does deserve to be beaten with his KB for orchestrating this crap, 2 good alliances pissed away for nothing.

 

I'm getting pretty battered here. Am I allowed to surrender, or do I have to, like confirm something with someone? Or will someone help me? I've got no pop to get soldiers from, little cash, and Anarchy for a long ass time. The guy's basically three times my nation strength...

It's funny, the whole war I didn't come close to anarchy, then the day before surrender I get hammered 3 times in a row in a short time not giving me enough time to rebuild sending me into anarchy. I went from 1,800 infra down to 800 in about a day.

But it's okay, cause we will be back stronger than ever.

Logrus, I would help if I could, all I can say is hang in there, man. I think you can offer peace since we have surrendered. I am not sure what to do if you are at war with a guy from FEAR though.

 

You've already surrendered; no one should be attacking you now. You're even under the protection of Norden Verien; link them to your thread of surrender and tell them, somewhat politely, to piss off. Then follow the instructions that your alliance agreed to on the thread. As far as GOD is concerned, the war is over. You won't be attacked, but it'll be up to your leadership (Middy, Xipho, Big Z) to decide how their going to pay reps; you're a small nation, so you'll probably be disincluded and left to rebuild.

Mmm... fair weather members suck, but I guess it's unavoidable; no one wants to be on a sinking ship. Still, you put on a really good show for one medium sized alliance against 7 others of the same. VE chose a really bad time to reform. . Or a really good time, depending on your perspective. And, if I didn't know where its priorities were, I'd be pretty ashamed of my former alliance; but, I guess it's always been the way. ONOS has never really been big in fighting in wars, and it's always taken the cautious path. Still not something I advocate, but... I recall something about the last time we fought, 80% of the memberbase bailing and fleeing to the NPO. I guess it's got something to do with rebuilding, but if you're going to fight a war...

I probably shouldn't be talking, since my current alliance is, with slight differences, exactly the same way towards wars. It's a common viewpoint I guess, but I'm not entirely pleased with it. I'm definitely heading over to GOD once everything cools down; I'm not sure how well this is going to go down, especially since Atlantis seems to be extremely member centric. Either way, we'll see how everything goes.

And, Sponge gets his privileges for being the leader of the largest alliance in CN; it's fairly understandable. He just happens to be a manipulative bastard, the two of which aren't the best of combinations.

 

I lost 2300 infra, 100 tech, 12K NS, and like 17,000 citizens. Best war evar!!

 

Ouch! My losses look minuscule next to that.

 

It was awesome though. FEAR has been threatening to ZI me since Monday. Yet, I finished all my wars with 100 infra left. I'm quite proud.
