Just out of curiosity... where did you find that definition?

I would still go with Neville for bravery. Simply because he's got a much bigger hurdle to cross than Harry, but is unaffraid to cross it.

    What penis?

Personally, I think the graveyard scene, as he had just witnessed a friend killed in front of his eyes, surrounded by death eaters and a dark lord that killed his parents and lots of other wizards come back to life.

Instead of running for the hills, he reached in his pants, found his balls and took on the fucker.

    Thats bravery.

Cedric Diggory was not exactly friends with Harry. Acquaintance is perhaps a better word. Is it bravery though to stand and fight when you have no other option except dying, or is it just a last stand effort?

I think the bravest moment in Harry's life was setting off to the DoM to save Sirius Black. He "knew" the danger that he was walking into and he went on to save, another acquaintance, or quasi-relative.

Your closet. Please clean it, I can't move.
I think it was in the Chamber of Secrets. Willingly facing off against a Basilisk, with no back up, no chance of reinforcements, and no idea how to beat it? Not to mention that it is an enemy of tremendous size and strength, and if you even look at it wrong, you outright die.

Admittedly, we know he won, we know he had help, and we know the Basilisk wasn't as much of a problem as it otherwise would have been. But look at things from the perspective of a twelve year old, who has just heard that everyone believes that there is no chance to save the person who was taken, and who had just found out that the monster he would face was nigh invincible.
