Magical power...Hrm...There are so many that I would like...Because of this, I think I'd like to be omnipotent. It really does eliminate the point of choosing, though, I admit.

If I had to really choose, I'd probably take some form of necromancy. The ability to raise and control the dead is just too fun of an ability. You could really fuck with people, with that ability. Little Jimmy's dog died? Make it into a zombie. Old man McGinnis is afraid of Zombies for some reason? Hordes of them invading the city and doing nothing would be fun.

Either that, or mind control. For some reason, I can't get the image of controlling horses and making them stand around on the crosswalks of major intersections out of my mind.

I'd have to go with either Legilimency or Obliviation. I would want to know the limits on Legilimency ... because if if was as powerful as it has been made in soem cases, I would use it to wipe peoples minds anyway.

Barring that, some sort of mind control like the imperius curse. There would be so many dastardly applications for that.

 

I've always liked some sort of spying power. Legilimency, invisibility, and mind control all seem fine to me.

My only issue with invisibility is its not perfect since people can hear you so I guess some sort of total sensory deprivation power would be nice. Time Freezing would be cool too but I have always wondered how would light work when time is frozen? Would you see the rays? Would you get warmth? Also the aging thing would get annoying.

 

As I was reading that Tenacious D were just about to sing about them(wonder boy). No I'm not just trying to point out "zomg!!1shiftone I know a song!"

Anyways if I could have ONE(loads of people said Xpower & Zpower) magical power I would have to choose strength as in superman Strength but not actually being superman so I have no weakness to cryptionite(sp?)

Having Nightcrawler's power(X-men) could steal nearly anything, perfect assassin, many other advantages also.

Well, having matured somewhat since I last posted in this thread, I think I have a more useful ability in mind. In short, I’d like to be able to make my own pocket dimension. Even if it were a one time ability, as long as the door to it were accessible to me wherever I went, I wouldn’t mind.

Something like the Room of Requirements but on a larger scale, where I could have complete control over everything inside of it.

Now, is that too much to ask? Being an Architect, I could actually design anything I wanted in there before actually building it, not to mention that I really wouldn’t have to worry about rent and taxes and what not if I lived in it, or worry about cooking and stuff…
