Still, as far as I remember, the White Court specialised in seduction and mind control... I just assumed if Justin could throw them off after being basically mindblazed (love that term), what is Red Court next to that? Then again, Reds use chemicals, not magic... and Justin did have protection.

Is there a lobby against Harry/Amanda? Otherwise I'll have to start one... Shezza has taken much pains to point out what Harry thinks of Amanda, and I've agreed with Harry so far. (Although I rather liked her at the beiginning of Renegade). No H/A. Ever. Simply because I like Harry being revolted by all the decency and goodness still left in he world.

This is news to me. The transition from the one story to the other has been seamless for me. Maybe you're feeling the absence of Amanda, but I shipped Harry/Merciel so I'm happy lol. The Harry/Amanda interaction was one of the best parts of DR though.

I can only guess, but I personally took that as an allusion to perhaps some dealings went down with Winter. Capital W. Dumbledore meant the season, but Harry's response insinuates potential new dealings with Meave - presumably.

IMO the story starts as good, as the prequel ended, I really liked the Harry/Harry interaction. Keep up the good work.
