Meh, I'm not too bothered by rep being removed. It was amusing and made me a feel bit smug when I got repped for a good post but it's not really important in any meaningful way.

I am kind of glad its gone, I was neg reped on one occasion for stating my opinion on a topic, I hadn't broken any rules and to my understanding it was not a stupid post so i felt it was unjust sometimes. Still it was a pretty cool feature, oh well we will have to find other methods to keep the noobs in line.

 

I've never been a fan of the rep system. Everyone was scared to say what they meant because others might jump their ass and ruin their infamous 'rep power.' That's why I spent the whole time giving out rep for random shit like birthdays.

But I do believe that we need a way to signify which members are the more respected ones (Me and my brother are obviously first in line for this award...) and which members are pretty much just newbs still. We are a Dark Harry site. We have to have a hierarchy....

I'm sort of sad to see the rep go though, there's nothing quite like opening your CP and seeing that you got even more neg rep for a two month old post that you made in the heat of the moment. (Yes, yes, I know I deserved it for coming across as a whiny bitch.) While annoying initially it quickly became rather amusing.
