Written by some german dude, it has some spelling/grammatical errors, but that is made up by the amazing quality of the writing, and just how bloody amazing the story is. It's a HP/BL fic, fyi.

Love Potion #9 By Dave-D was awesome, Another naruto fic

Larceny, Lechery, and Luna Lovegood! By Rorschach's Blot Has got to be one of my favorite Humor stories even if it's a little odd at times.

I'll probably get a WHOLE lot of shit for these, but A Second Chance at Life and it's sequel Changes in a Time of War By: Miranda Flairgold are some of the Best HP fiction I've ever read, even though they violate quite a number of DLP's 'Potter Laws'

Stranger than Fiction By: DsirinWsdm Is my favorite 'character POV' story. I have yet to find another story that is told well from a second person perspective. It's a Naruto story though, so be warned.

Most of the rest of my favorites list have already been posted, so I'm afraid that you'll have to make due with these ;-)

 

I actually really liked A second chance at life..But then it got really long and drawn out towards the end. Plus the fact he went back to Ginny/Hermione and Ron in the end which totally turned me off.

 

Um...Did you actually read the story?

Ron joins the other side of the war and gets killed by demons and Harry only went back to Europe to visit.

The author can write, and the child!Harry passes pretty quickly.

Kurinoone's story is a plaguerism, but I still liked it more than what it plaguerized. The guilt still keeps me up at night. The writing was more polished, I guess.

The action is great, the author makes great use of plot devices, and I was surprised to see it in a dubious fandom like Halo. The little mistakes like super luminal instead of supra were more than ignorable.

I think that the best all-around fic is Ruskbyte's Backwards Compatible. The potential for violence, decent love story (for those who care), and technomancy are all killer.

And Luna's a lesbian. I love lesbians.

 

Ah, that's one awesome fic. Sadly it was last updated in 2006 and doesn't look like it will ever be finished. Surprisingly, there are quite a few high quality fics in a dubious fandom like Halo.

Soulguard's works are a good example of this.

There is no number one for me, lots of fics I've read were great.
However, the one I'm enjoying most at the moment is, without a doubt, Shezza's Denarian Knight (Denarian Renegade was amazing too).

 

There are many number ones for me. It is difficult to say who comes first however I would recommend Harry Potter: Dark Memories by BlueOwl. This author has two fics and is doing an excellent job on them.

Many of my faves have already been mentioned, but one of the all-time awesomest, imo, is:

Anarkia by Naia

Any other story. Any other fucking story and that would be an absolute fucking dead-panned catastrophe.
