There are some typos. I've belatedly noticed that Warlocke saw many of these as well. Still, there are some things I've noticed that he hasn't and vice versa, so here we go:

I'd suggest you remove softly since muttering means that it's in a low voice not meant for the ears.

I think it works better if you removed "in the process of" or replaced it with something like "getting ready to." I believe "in" should be used in place of "on."

Woman instead of women. Consistency re: half-breeds. Should it be capitalized or not?

Aurors instead of Auror's. I'd prefer who instead of that, but since it is a conversation, I'm slightly more reluctant to suggest that change.

I think "Denarian Warlord", "Denarian Dissident", "Denarian Luminary", "Denarian Patron", or "Denarian Deity". Dissident I think sounds cool, but would like the finality of that the conclusion of the trilogy will likely bring.

Luminary gives me a good idea:

"Harry knelt on the floor. "Thank you Charlie Chaplin. Thank you Alec Guinness..."

"What are you doing?" Sirius asked.

"I'm thanking my lucky stars."

"Oh... Well, throw David Hasselhoff in there for me, will ya?"

Anyway, the titles seem to be related heavily to the major plot point of the respective story. This is Denarian Knight since Harry's a knight of a cross. We could come up with better stuff once Shezza completes this. Just to make sure he doesn't spring something underhanded.

 

To be honest, a lot of people have got it right. I was thinking of either Denarian Prince or Denarian Lord, since it both implies the same sort of thing.

 

If it's going to be the last Denerian story you write (-sob-), I'd go with Denerian Lord, since Prince implies he hasn't reached the top yet.

Not necessarily. A Lord can be as high a position as one wants. For example, a king is a prince's lord.

 

I would disagree with this. A Lord is (or was) a land-owning noble who grants land (a fief) to someone of lesser stature, making that someone his vassal. In exchange for the fief, the vassal pledges military allegiance to his Lord.

The King is indeed (usually) the ultimate Lord, but the Prince is not his vassal but his successor. Thus the King is not the Prince's Lord.

And though the King is the ultimate Lord, there are many lords of lesser stature than the Prince. On average, a Prince is a higher position than a Lord, even though there may be some Lords of greater power.

And I still stand by the fact that Denarian Prince sounds better than Denairan Lord.

 

I'm not sure anymore and don't want to check that, but weren't the angels the closest thing to God himself, besides being one of his first creation?

But then again, prince is more unique. There are hundreds of stories with "lord" in them.
