While that is pretty terrible it doesnt sum up potter law in one fic like "MAGICUS TEMPOS EXTREMOS" did. It did make me vomit though.

 

It has the VERY IMPORTANT virtue of being short. (I skimmed it, and even that was too much. Rather like a lot of Deathly Hallows.) I kept looking for the note that said "parody."

 

Epic fail.

Awful or not, there hasn't been a fic written that couldn't eventually get a favorable review from someone equally as/even more retarded than the author.

On top of all the cliches, of money, Harry beating up Petunia because of his Quidditch skills.... Black inheritance, Dumbles betrayal, Narcissa, Bella, Tonks and Fleur blah blah, the lot of them end up in Japan facing Godzilla....

I donno about you guys but I like Harry Potter and I like the old Godzilla (not the new shit that lived in New York). It was fun to read about a kid learing about magic. It was hilarious to see a guy stomping around in a rubber suit.

But they don't mix!!!!

 

Actually, HP just doesn't seem to crossover very well. With anything. I enjoy crossovers in general, and have spent a lot of time over at TtH. For me, the usual problem is that the author is deeply enamoured of series over another, and unbalances the crossover 'verse or marginalizes one group of characters. There are a few novel-length HP-crosses that work, but the vast majority are seriously lopsided in power.

 

I really dislike HP crossovers.As Banner said they just dont work! The only half decent crossover is Renegade and that is barely a crossover at all.I love stargate, I love LOTR, I love WOT......but they just dont mix.

 

WOT might, and I stress the word might make for a relativaly workable crossover base if only because the difference in HP magic and WOT magic could be explained away by wether or not you could see the threads you were weaving.

 

Is this a joke? Because my little brother is only 7 years old and he can write better than this shit.

That's a good point, but the way i see it WOT magic is just so much more powerful than HP magic, and then you have the whole tainted saiden argument, although having Harry show up in WOT makes for a nice variation to camelot or the founders days.

 

Which 'verse is WOT?

 

Wheel of time, good verse .........if a little frustrating at times, im no expert though, im only halfway through the third book.

I actually toyed with the Idea of trying a WoT crossover where someone from the third age accidentally got trapped outside the pattern, and was held timeless till the fifth age (or something like that) where 'the dragon' was considered a mythological and extremely powerful wizard, nothing more. decided I had enough on my plate at the time, but only after I'd drawn up a rough outline of the story... Ya, I'm my muses bitch...

The fifth book will probably screw your mind up permanently
On a side note however the mastermind behind the series Died last year with the last book unfinished... The family found someone to finish it for him, but even with all the notes and stuff he left behind (He knew it was coming) I'm worried about what it's going to look like...
