Yes, and Harry has Green eyes, not brown. They could have at least given him color contacts or something. I mean, it's a pretty relevant to the story that Harry has green eyes and they seemed to not give a fuck about it.

They dropped the ball on so many things in the movies.

'Subtle' emphasis on the difference between Harry and Voldemort.

Well, maybe not relevant, but I can't count how many times in the series they reference Harry's green eyes which are just like his mothers. If it's mentioned over 25 times (which I'm sure it is), they should not change it. They could have easily gotten Radcliffe some green contacts.

It's kind of like if the Weasleys didn't have red hair in the movie. It's not exactly relevant to the story, but it's mentioned so many times that everyone and their mom knows the Weasleys have red hair, just as Harry has green eyes.

Changing it for no reason is just WTF.

Red hair is the defining quality of the Weasleys. Otherwise, they're just "that shit poor family Harry stays with instead of the abusive cunts that are his relatives and eventually marries into due to being secretly fed love potion making him want to fuck Ginny's cum-filled snatch."

Yeah, I got a little carried away there.:)

Dan's eyes are blue, if I recall correctly. If you hadn't noticed, then perhaps it doesn't matter one way or the other whether he wouldn't wear contacts. :|

Eye color apparently isn't very relevant in HP, considering nearly every other author fucks them up. They might get Harry and Voldemort right, but everyone else... forget about it.

(Then again, I could say the same about the spelling of every name, spell, et cetera in the series.)

They're always writing stories where Ginny has blue eyes, Ron has brown and Hermione's are blue or hazel or some other shit since it would seem that anything is better than brown and Hermione-Sue has to be perfect for her completely fucking implausible relationship with any Slytherin/Bad Guy that kidnaps, then beds her. Anyway...

    For the record:

    Harry - Green
    Hermione - Brown
    Ron - Blue
    Ginny - 'Bright' Brown

    Perfectly understandable.

Cinnamon seems to be a favourite. I wasn't aware that the shit that goes on Donuts was actually a colour.

In a perfect, absolutely breathtaking way, that made Harry want to drown in them.
    :puke:

I wish Rowling had described Ginny's eyes as an "interesting shade of brown". Then we could laugh our asses off imaging Ginslut's eyes being the colour of vomit.

The thing that bothered me the most, was the spell Luna used when a DE is standing over her. I'm almost positive she said 'Levicorpus'. Wasn't that a spell Snape invented?

Funny thing is, in the first movie, at least, Harry had green eyes. (and his hair was waaaay too neat.... and Dudley should've been wearing a fat suit) I guess Daniel Radcliff refused to wear green color contacts in later movies.

I haven't watched it probably never will and if I do I'll probably take a twelve gauge to it after watching it.

I don't see how he could have. He didn't wear contacts for the first one either. Maybe his eyes turned green when he saw all the £££££ on his contract and it wore off after a while?

Nope, they're blue on the disc, blue in the movie, and blue on the box art, which was a friggin' drawing, so they could have made them green there if they'd wanted to. Time to hit the optometrist Bratling.

Well, it is a shade of brown, so I'll actually buy that description. Hell, if I ever end up posting a story, I may even use it because I'm a schmuck. But, yeah, changing her eye color to something supposedly more glamorous is retarded.
Or just plain old shit. :whipped:

Harry gazed fondly into her eyes which were a warm, glistening brown, just like a fresh turd bobbing in the toilet bowl. This random thought jarred Harry to his senses for a moment.
'Why the hell am I staring into Ginny's eyes, of all things? Last I remember, I was in the Three Broomsticks and she was handing me an open butterbeer and- Oh hell no. I'm gonna bury this bitch at the bottom of the Loch and they won't find her until the next Triwizard Toss off.'

    They were too lazy.

I'd of laughed if his green eyes played a large part in the outcome of some massive plot-point.

For all we know it was supposed to and she changed it to match the movie, hence resulting in the mess called DH.

Except for the fact that there is an interview somewhere with J.K Rowling saying that he shouldn't wear contacts.

    Quick search yielded...

Despite how inaccurate Fred and George's departure was, I still liked how they did the music. It's nice that they've started shying away from that Williams track that plays all over the place in the first three.

Not to say John Williams is bad. But after Jurassic Park, it's just been the same stuff over and over. Hell, I love Star Wars, but Episode II's music was shit. Potter 1 and 2 it worked. But they really needed to start expanding from that point on, instead of keeping it through and some of 4.
