I think the point is that, for Meciel/Harry to develop further, she needs a corporeal body. I guess she could stay in his head, but, Harry's a kid. He might see that it isn't enough. He probably wants someone physical, knowing that they truly exist; a partner that isn't just a fooling of his senses.

Only, Meciel can't have a physical body unless she possesses somebody through the transfer of her coin, unless there's some ritual I don't know about. So I dunno.

The best ending to the "lol I <3 Amanda/Meciel" issue is to contrive a situtation where Meciel takes Amanda's body as her own, of Amanda's own free will.

I really liked Harry's rude, but nevertheless very effective method of teaching the brats! It seems that Meciel can see the possibility to gather some minions as very promising for her future endeavours, which proves that she's sneakier than any Slytherin. And the whole bet about getting to see Meciel naked was just too awesome and fitting! I demand pictures!

I noticed. Though I liked more Cessbulby. Meciel is kinda... too old. Too mature. For me, that is.

Seriously, I like when there is peacfull period in fanfiction, when you can simply enjoy originality of characters. Your sense of humour is brilliant.

Great chapter. Loved it

Harry seemed to enjoy showing off and training his newfound minions. I suppose that makes it easier for him to continue doing DA if thats what you intend. It was rather fun to see Harry totally crushing Hermione though it was also a nice touch that Amanda almost caught Harry offguard. Might lead to Harry feeling atleast a tiny bit of respect towards her.

In any case, looking forward to the next chapter. I wonder how you will deal with the whole naked Meciel issue? Might be hilarious if you did the whole scene offscreen, except that most of DLP would probably lynch you for it.

 

I just hope she doesn't have cobwebs in an over-grown bush
