I was just thinking about the strange and marvelous ways I've seen various authors imprison Death Eaters. Wheezy1 canned them to save them for later. Teacherbev turned them into gerbils and put them into a gerbil habitat. So what's your favorite method of Death Eater imprisonment that you've seen authors employ?

Ip's capture and subsequent interaction with Rockwood was well written and realistic.

I think it was Power of Time where Harry captured Death Eaters and then embezzled their accounts. Points for robbing Gringotts in an intelligent manner (if a little farfetched.)

The most ridiculous way of capturing a death eater or voldemort supporter was transfiguring Pius Thicknesse into a sea urchin. Seems that if a sycophantic bootlicker can pull that off, there's really no need to bother with say, actual spells, AK included.

Capture, pilfer accounts, kill. A guide to Death Eater interaction in three easy steps.

On another note, Gabilian was pretty creative with Lucius Malfoy in his story A Serpent's Sacrifice. After duelling with him briefly, he gave him a message for Voldemort, via memory, and then Obliviated him in a big way before leaving him for his Master to find...Voldemort's 'interrogation' of Bertha Jorkins should ring a bell.
