The Uchihatards were basically having orgasms when Kishimoto announced his shift in focus.

Personally, at this point I'm hoping that Itachi does beat the hell out of him and takes what he wants.

See how far that "I'm breaking those bonds" shit gets him then.

 

It would certainly give Naruto a motive to train even harder. See, he wants to train pretty hard so that he can match Sasuke and bring him home. Then, Itachi kills Sasuke in battle...Itachi's stronger, and Naruto needs to kill Itachi, meaning he needs to grow stronger yet...

Naturally, I would love to see that happen.

 

Actually I meant more of a situation where he DIDN'T kill him... but did leave him behind again... only now telling him to "Live in shame. Live a miserable life, run away, and live" all over again... only with new meaning.

Show him that all that advancement that Kishi has been hyping doesn't mean shit... because he's confused the gifts he's gotten from his blood with his "own" power (Like Diedara said)

Maybe that's what Itachi talked to Naruto about... telling him where he's going to find Sasuke after itachi has beaten him again. So that Naruto can take him back to Konoha.

 

There never should have been any Redemption fics for him in the first place

Besides, Naruto may not me strong now, but once he gets strong enough he would probebly kick everyones ass in an epic ownage. Sides, it's the co-operates fault for making Kishi weak naruto.

Oujou: That's because it's the first worthwhile chapter in like three months.

 

1. He got tired of people calling him a pussy for never killing peoiple off, and he needed something to let Naruto angst.

2. He needs time to figure out how the fuck Naruto is gonna get any stronger. Rin will return.

3. The fight will be long, drawn out, and have lots of dialog which he'll use to try and tie up all the Uchiha plot holes.

4. He was thinking "...what the fuck?"

5. He was thinking "... I like blue..."

6. He has no idea what to do with Naruto.

7. He'll give us a few cut scenes away from the Uchiha to let the Uchiha final showdown run even longer.

New rules! No predictability! No plot holes! No deux ex mazchina! Final Destination!

Sasuke... Desu desu​

Okay, the translation and manga is out at Mangahelpers so it's no longer a spoiler anylonger what happened in the latest chapter.

Itachi's plan for Sasuke was for him to get stronger and show up with the Mangekyo Sharingan. (no... not the Mango sharigan... it's not the dreaded fruit eye)
Then Itachi would rip Sasukes eyes out and transplant them into his own eye sockets... because then he'll get the Eternal Mangekyo sharingan... because the normal one causes your eyes to go blind.

Okay... weirdness... but eh whatever.

So, what I wish would happen from this fight.
1. I hope to god that Sasuke loses and gets his fucking eyes taken out.
2. I hope that what Itachi said to Naruto was. "I will be facing my little brother again in a day or so... and I will defeat him again, but I will not kill him. You will find him at such and such a location. Take him home for me, Naruto-kun. He has lost his way."
3. Naruto goes there and finds our now eyeless Sasuke.
4. Sasuke gets taken back to Konoha, where he gets new eyes... but he no longer has the Sharingan... and now has to learn how to get by with his own power... and has to stop relying on the Sharingan Hax because it's gone.

The upside to this would be that both Naruto and Sasuke would have been made to stop relying on something else making them strong (For Naruto... he's stopped relying on the Kyuubi for chakra and Sasuke for all the power of his bloodline) The story would become much more healthy and might even get back on track.

What'll likely happen however is that Itachi will find Sasuke is too close a battle or hasn't gotten the MS and thus is useless to him ... and we'll continue to be subjected to more of "I gotz da sharingan.. I rulz LOL!Sasuke" and a fucked up battle with itachi that decides nothing.

But I concur... with this latest news on Itachi, it was like a thousand fangirls suddenly cried out in despair and were suddenly bitchslapped.

At least now reviews for such fics can contain the penultimate negative review of "Are you on crack, bitch? Itachi isn't a good guy... The manga has shown that he's an irredeemable evil SOB who did in fact kill his clan for selfish purposes with the help of Madara. "

 

I have to admit, Sharinganless, humbled Sasuke sounds pretty damn appealing... as would Itachi just killing the bastard.

I'm just going to have to wait and see, huh?

I'd really like to see the battle between Madara and Shodai Hokage. Madara had an ultra Mangekyou, was regarded as the strongest ninja of his time... how did the Hokage win? He had to be a tough fucker. And, if I'm not mistaken, each Hokage was stronger than the last, atleast, it seems that way. So, once again, Naruto has to become completely ridiculous... I just don't want to wait a entire fucking year (or more) for that to happen.

 

Alright, 'tis fine with me. This will mean quite a lot less "Itachi redemption" fics.

But just imagine the sheer number of "Kyuubi redemption" stories that will be written.

"Oh, Kyuubi isn't really a evil fox, he was just controlled by Madara! He is really just a benevolent old man/hot slutty girl."

There were already enough of those, but now they have a basis in canon!
Ugh, and the really hopeless fangirls will probably have that as the real reason that Itachi wants to kill Madara.

 

No way. It's already been stated fact that the Kyuubi is, and I quote, "the collection of human maliciousness." There's no redemption from that.

 

Of course, it's obvious that there shouldn't be any idiotic redemption fics.

Yet....there are. And quite a few of them have a plot that is very similar to the one that I described above.

And that was before any mention of Kyuubi being controlled was canon. Now that it is canon, I doubt that they will let such a small fact as the Kyuubi being the incarnation of evil hold them back from writing it.
