Somewhat angsty and rather gritty, but very well written, and a pretty decent plotline. The jinchuuriki are well fleshed out, mostly by dialogue and mannerism's. This fic is good now, and has great potential. I reccomend reading it.

 

I'm surprised that this one hasn't been mentioned yet.

As the word count gives testimony to, it's a long fic. It starts off with Naruto leaving on his training trip and diverges from the timeline.

The story just sucked me in when I started reading it. The characters are kept very much in canon, and (for me at least) it was a real pleasure to read a fic where Naruto is Naruto... but shows that he's growing up while we also see the story develop in more adult directions. Extra points for it having lots of Anko in it.

not everyone keeps an eye on his LJ account (Here if anyone wants it.) That being said, I believe he mentioned that it had more potholes than he was willing to fill and that some day in the extremely distance future he MIGHT consider a re-write.

Knowing what little I do of him though I wouldn't bet on it.

Like they said though, very dark, but also VERY thought provoking.

 

Everyone read this. This is the best example of OC use in a fic I've ever seen.

Fucking awesome. This is Naruto + Troop of OC Jinchuuriki done right.

 

Yeah, it's really one of the only good stories in which OC's have a big role. Excellent job with the characterization.

Been over at ADD and I've looked through every single posted Naruto fic. The people there seems to be more intelligent than the average Naruto fan but that doesn't help much when so few of you author.. I mean sure HP fandom is an infested cesspool of shit but there are bits of gold here and there mostly centered around DLP. ADD really can't do much if the there are no bits of gold to be had

I just want to read some kickass indy!Naruto fics with the same style as the better HP authors over here. Sadly there seems to be maybe 2-3 such Naruto authors in total.

With that being said, 100 Days is long as hell, but it's good. Not as good as Nine Broken Mirrors, but good.
