Umbridge and the aurors are pretty foolish not to have realised that Malfoy was framed. It seemed very obvious to me. Though I suppose their denial of Voldemort means that they are blind and ignorant. The way Harry jumped at his own defense was especially suspicious to me.

Dumbledore atleast seems to have realised that Malfoy is not guilty. I do admit however that Malfoy oweing a favor to Harry for rescuing him from something that Harry himself caused was rather funny.

I don't think I entirely understand what the whole asteroid/moon thing was about? Were you trying to say that the moon was the asteroid? Or that the asteroids impact caused a chunk of earth to fly up and become the moon? I dont get it.

You know, I still wonder exactly where the Sword is? Its been many chapters since it was even mentioned and over 10 before it had any real impact. I find it a bit odd that you are ignoring the sword and Harry's status as Knight considering that the story is named "Denarian Knight". Has it even occurred to Harry that the sword has made no demands on him for ages?

 

Malfoy is stupid enough not to realize that Harry stole his wand? Sheesh.

I have to admit that I rather enjoy those "filler chapters" as you called them. It was great to see Harry's plan work out so well, even if Malfoy's debt was just an added bonus. I have to agree with Meciel: Harry deserves extra praise for the good performance in the headmasters office!

Anyway, I'm eagerly awaiting the next part of this chapter, since I do suspect that Dumbledore will have some words with Harry, and we'll be treated to some more of Harry's deragatory comments.

It was interesting... though I was disappointed that there was little the similarities between 'The Birds' and what you wrote... maybe put a quote "Can I bring the lovebirds" somewhere or something.

 

Unexpected and awesome development. So Harry is finally a "knight"? That is, he has a temporary duty to protecting innocents... it makes for an interesting twist, since Harry is a very offensive magic-user.

 

Is Harry going to honour the intended meaning of the vow or try to slip out of it as soon as he can get away with it? It wasn't even a thrice-bound vow. At least then we'd know that Merciel would strongly prompt him to keep it.

 

For one, Dumbledore still holds the keys to Harry's life.
For another, this is a good opportunity to not be bored.

So there shouldn't be any reason to doublecross Dumbledore until atleast after the OWLs.

Meh, me I didn't like the owls part so much. Granted I don't like how Hedwig ends up being Harry's pocket size Valkyrie either, and I would love to take a potshot at killing some owls in a story, but it didn't seem to fit.

Perhaps something to do with the forbidden forest would have made it more interesting. An assassin centaur, or a rampaging unicorn charmed by Vesper.
