That's a scary thought........A horde of Harry's to please Ginny's every whim......The slash shipper's would pick up on it instantly and you would be responsible for a whole new genre.
    Not good.

Maybe I should have left the spell duplicus in my brain. The very idea of even more H!G and slash in stories...Oh god, the image, I'm scarred for life...

There is something like this in canon. Remember Hufflepuff's cup in DH? It had a multiplying spell on it along with a burning curse if I remember correctly. Even so, duplication/multiplying spells aren't all powerful. We've gone over this before in various magical theory threads about why some wizards are poor. Conjured and duplicated items do not last.

Dumbledore, Transfiguration Master, "Greatest Wizard of His Time," in his own castle (where one can assume that the circumstances put him at his best advantage,) managed to conjure up several hundred sleeping bags. They lasted for one night, as I remember.
Although why he didn't Transfigure the undoubtedly Thousands of blankets and bed linens in the Laundry storage is one of those mysterious things...

Ah, but how do we know that he conjured them. In my eyes, every time we see conjuring in Harry Potter, it is merely a showy, more advanced form of a summoning charm. I steadfastly refuse to believe in conjuring, or Transfiguration of common goods, since that would create a strange world where one's desires are a flick of a wand away.

Too close for an egalitarian neo-communist society for my tastes...

    It's magic, remember? :)

There are probably limitations as to how long a conjuration (a transfiguration of air to whatever object) will hold up, as "fueled" by the caster's magic. Remember at the climax of HBP, when Dumbledore's body bind spell wore off? Imagine eating conjured food, only to have the nutrients from the food revert to air at a later date - or worse, transfigured food. Wizards would become swiss cheese! So relax, Harry and co. aren't going to start a commune any time soon.

Indeed. And that is precisely why, in a "real" wizarding world, people would conjure drugs. Long term negative effects? Hahahahah, no. The chemicals in the drugs that cause those vanish!

The worst spell I found wasn't that bad but if I remember correctly, it was Nevada Kedava or something like that. The spell, simply put was a 'give me his powers and memories' spell.

Talking about that makes me think, if objects stop the killing curse, wouldn't thick or maybe normal clothes stop it?

Nevada Kedava? Are you sure it wasn't Necro Kedava?
That is one thing that pisses me off if you absolutely must modify a damn spell do it in the same language. The AK is Aramaeic, thus don't go tacking Faux or even actual latin onto it.

I think that, like radiation, it takes a certain amount of mass to absorb the Curse. AD used solid gold statues, and Harry hid behind marble headstones in the graveyard (if I remember correctly.)

Which story was it? For all we know we could be thinking of two different stories.

I can't remember, so your probably right about it being necro kedava. But while looking for it I found a couple other spells like Dementorcy and Necroquickin, now that I think about it necroquickin is probably Nevada Kedava.

Necroquickin I remember that it, thats so old, it wasn't that bad back then but know if you tried it you are a douche. Tch, I mean everybody jumped on the band wagon with those ridiculous spells, hence this thread.

Yea, if only we were smarter back then, if only we knew better ways to come up with spells.

Well, at least we can say we evolved. We can say we looked back on those days of ginny being 'cool', the days where we made these crapy spells and those days where we might have thought that Ron was cool, But now we can say we evolved.

Ron cool? Ron was a cockmonger, Ron is a cockmonger, Ron will always be a cockmonger. In thousands of years if the human race still exists and they still have copies of the Harry potter books, they will all think "Geez, Ron is a cockmonger".

Yeah, maybe, but there are people who think that, maybe, just maybe he could qualify to be a loser.
