I gathered they were the magical equivalent of Hitmen.

Those procephies are made by seers and then recorded and archived. This is probably done automatically like the quill at Hogwarts which records names of magical newborns.

POA makes reference to Hitwizards as a team of wizards that are sent to duel and arrest dangerous criminals by the Ministry. So they're like Aurors, only they focus solely on combat, whereas Aurors also have to investigate and so forth.

So Hitwizards are like SWAT I guess.

Let's see a muggle get a wizard in a place where a sniper could be set up...

Lol you keep coming up with all these different things on how Muggles can possibly even have a small chance at killing wizards. Grasping at straws my friend.

Wizards probably wouldn't get sniped in the first place because they would most likely never confront muggles on an open battlefield. And Muggles would never get into a wizard controlled area.

And why, pray tell, would the British Government torture their own citizens for information they can't recall, on the tiniest chance that it might break the charm?

Gee, where's that picture of the Weasleys walking through downtown london when I need it.

EDIT: You know, I always thought unplottable meant you couldn't plot it on a map, like scrying and the like. Or some wizard goes to hogwarts, writes down the location on a map, leaves, and the map entry vanishes. I highly doubt the spell is powerful enough to stop a pair of muggles way the hell away from going "Drop bombs on coordinates X,Y."

And hell, if the taboo can be avoided by calling moldyshorts moldyshorts, then unplottable should be able to be avoided if you just refer to it as numbered coordinates. It's not like it matters to the bombs.

Maybe the info is vital, maybe this will be proof for muggles or maybe this could be what starts the war between the muggles and wizards.

    Nice photoshop skills Taure ;)
Let's see a sniper shoot a Wizard when he remembers that important Dentists appointment.
EDIT: Belra, how would they know who to torture if they've had their own memories erased?

Funny, the wizard wouldn't have any warning though, sorry old boy.
Here's the only way the wizards survive: hiding behind unplottable areas that are self sustaining.

The Weasleys won't be walking through downtown London during the way. No, they will apparate into downtown London, set a few fires, and apparate out. Fear and Guerrilla tactics are beautiful things.

    EDIT

    Lol, okay, wizards win then...

Oz.... You embody, at this perfect moment, the reason why wizards would lose.

What you consistently ignore is that spells have RANGE OF EFFECT.

But no... I'm going to put down the keyboard, and just stop talking. Because nothing will get past the impervius spell on your brain.

That was one hilarious picture. Agreed with you by the way OZ. They wouldn't torture there citizens on the off chance of some information by breaking a memory charm

As we see from the taboo, a spell's 'range of effect' can be a country wide.

I never said he needed warning.

He could be wearing a piece of clothing like the Protego hats, to have a permanent instant shield ready to spring up, or he could have already cast the Imperturbable charm on himself before going out into a warzone, or he could never be found by the sniper in the first place.

Three reasons why he doesn't need warning but is still invulnerable to snipers.

I'd say it came from this |^|

Or the idea that muggle repelling wards will just happen to cover all of london, all the wilderness around it, hell, the entire world while we're at it.

These awesome charms that the moment anyone who isn't a wizard looks at a wizard, or thinks about a wizard will suddenly realize they have something better to do and go do it, even in the middle of their /job/.

These awesome charms that are so powerful and wonderful that NO ONE EVER USES THEM EVER.

Edit: Okay, look, I'm apologizing for the ranting, but the illogic gets to me. I understand it is magic, I get it. But from EVERYTHING we've seen, it follows rules of some sort. If it didn't, the whole harry potter story would never have happened.

Damn, you got me there, I can only guess, maybe these people have storys that don't match up or maybe if the conflict is going on, they could have checkpoints and cameras at every location that belongs to muggles.

This is getting harder and harder as we go on. Helltanz98, we are outnumbered, maybe we should give up. I know I am.
