Who needs James, he is, after all, just a poor mans Harry Potter.

I have never seen Lily as a seer, what is that in?

One last question, Which fic is she a prankster?

Sorry, I've read so many fics, they all tend to blur together - put a "requst for theme" post at Flourish&Blots or Borgin&Burkes (depending on where you want your rating.)

I think the "Lily as Seer" theme is similar to the "Sirius as Seer" theme. Letters from beyond the grave where she knew Peter would betray them, or she knew she would be dying soon. And further show how if Dumbledore hadn't manipulated Harry and kept him from his inheritance/vault/parents' wills then [insert typical cliched Indy!Harry plotline here].

Though I don't recall similarities to Lily ever factoring into a Harry/Luna romance (unless you count Harry breast-feeding from both of them, but that's not as common in fanfic as I thought).

I know Lily is often called "worse than the Marauders" or pranked as much or was brilliant, etc... so prankster!Lily is frequent. Really its only Hermione's smartness and Ginny's appearance for the oedipal issues.

Its a shame that a lot of people can't make an original Lily. She has so many options available to her, story wise, not charecter wise.

How do you guys picture Lily's personality?

Intelligent - NOT "smartest witch of her generation," but highly intelligent and a disciplined student. She works for her grades every day, practicing and studying. She's of At Least above average power - she (successfully!) defended her son against Riddle. She wasn't interested in stunts: she didn't bother with quidditch or amimagus study. We never found an award or trophy.
Whatever her career, she stopped it cold to hide with her family.
She stayed friends with an unpopular boy until he drove her away.
James wanted her, so he considered her worthy of him: pretty, smart, magically powerful enough to counterbalance her being a muggleborn. They were together for several years, so she could take a joke - and she must have been able to dish it out as well as take it, or he would never have respected her.

    It's a crying shame, isn't it?:D

Plus she's smokin' hot, and stuborn as a mule to have resisted James's sedukshunz for so long.
Seriously though, she's one of my favourite characters, and there were only two scenes with her in them. :(
If JK wrote a prequel to the series, I would actually read it just for Lily. She's the first fictional character I ever had a crush on when I was about 11 (pathetic, I know).

Must Resist, Must Resist. But ya Lily needs more Irish-ness to her.

Has anyone read a story where Harry goes to an Irish school, 'cause if you ask me, that would be so funny.

Irish Lily has been done to death.
And in response to your request The Irish choice is a story where Harry goes to an Irish school, but it's pretty shit.

It has some interesting ideas, and a highly independent Harry.

I read the Irish choice, mostly, and I found a couple things that annoy me, I will only list the top one. First of all, when the headmaster of this new school lists the clubs, the thing that annoyed me here was that even though the school includes muggle subjects, there are no muggle sports, not even Irish sports like Hurling.

I know, I hate it when a person doesn't research a country enough, especially with Ireland. Ireland has so many references to be made to make it realistic
For example The travelers, Cork, Dublin, Galway, Bear, Cork, GAA, Accents, Cork, Northern Ireland, Connacht, Munster, Leinsteir, Cork.

County Cork, Ireland. The home to Dark Belra and the European capital of culture.
Unfortunately it went missing, and the police have yet to find any culture in Cork. :D

Cork is the center of all fucked up accents, considered to be the home of the rebels, the only thing a Cork person can say proudly is they are not as retarded as Kerrymen.

All Cork culture in an easy to watch format

BTW Oz, I am Irish by birth, Cork by the grace of God.
