SerpentSannin's fic 'Knowledge is Power' has a character that is a potion user, i've seen a few interesting potions in that one, such as an in depth explanation of the commonly used nutrient potion.

Sadly everyone has jumped on the nutriet potion bandwagon.

It's a quick way for Harry to buff up so the fangirls can justify giving him long flowing locks and bottomless pools of emerald brilliance for eyes.

Still though it's reasonable to assume that there are nutrient potions in the wizarding world whereas there is no such thing as a golden patronus and there never will be.

The one thing that I hate is where he finds the uber!glasses that can find anything and everything and of course he finds them in the uber awesome vault that has all of the other crazy goodies that his parents left behind for him instead of using on Voldemort when he came to kill them.

That turned into a bit of a rant didn't it? Oh well.

Valid arguement, but better suited to the peeves of fanfiction thread.

Yea. I started off on something and went off on some random tangent...

Anyways, back OT how about Magicus Tempos Extremos? It is apparently the ultimate time travel spell.

Eh. It makes sense, at least. Probably taking it over a few months would turn Harry from a scrawny short fuck into a skinny average-height fuck.

Uber vision? Can't say I've come across that. I'll admit that I'm a fan of the "spell that corrects Harry's vision", if only for Evil Overlord Tip #220.:p

You haven't come across one that makes Harry get X-ray vision, or turns his eyes into replicas of Moody's magical eyes, or one that gives him Basilisk vision.

Oh, I'm a fan of "Harry corrects his vision" sure. It's the "Harry gets his eyes enchanted so he can fucking kill Death-Pants with a stare" that annoys me.

Ain't nothing wrong with Harry fixing his eyes so he doesn't need stupid glasses, its just gay when he has X-ray vision, heat vision, like superman.

I couldn't agree more - Getting your vision corrected as soon as possible is just good sense. Getting super-oculars is embarrassing. And, really, probably a good way to actively cause migraines and even brain damage.

That Pomphrey never even tried any correction to Harry's eyes is a constant sore point for me. I wore glasses from the time I was seven years old. Through adolescence, my prescription deteriorated so fast I was getting new glasses At Least twice a year, and I still got BAD headaches from eyestrain. I know how inconvenient it is.

Voldemort's best friend is a snake, you dont get much more retarded than that.....unless of course you throw away a promising future to join the weasley horde like some characters we know.

Tell me about it. I'm shortsighted, and I have to constantly take my glasses off and on when I'm in class. It's even worse when you're using a computer.

I don't think so, probably fanon, cause Rowling would not want to harm her fangirls' minds with gore human deaths.

Hopefully slash their wrists... or hand themselves, if they survive maybe they will get commited.
Any spell that uses two different languages, especially if they don't even share the same language family.
