Only read the first chapter, and its not off to a bad start, but the grammar and typos get to me quick.

I guess the guy's first language isn't english, or something?

Eh, it's a Harry/Hermione. That being the case, it would have to be beyond exceptional for me to consider reading it. I really am becoming too much of a pairing whore these days...

 

I've lost mot of my bias, as long as it's not H/G with fluff, or H/slash.

 

Mine have gotten progressively worse. All I tend to read are Harry/Cho, Harry/Fleur, Harry/Fem!OC and the occasional Harry/Bella nowadays.

 

Also the writer may benefit from learning how to use the chapter function.

75K+ words is a bit damned much for one chapter, and he'll be lucky if some dipshit doesn't get the story yanked for improper chaptering (yes i've seen stories yanked for this, if it's not a oneshot, they don't like extreme long chapters)

I'm still not done with the first chapter, and I feel myself quickly loosing interest as things are repeated (the questions) and seeing the first part is rushed quite a bit.

 

I've become more selective. I'll give it a shot some time when I get a chance. WOn't be for a while not though.

 

Don't think I'm bothering with the rest of this (just past the part where his parents come back.. ug) , as I read more, it gets confusing, and with no notice of breaks inbetween dream sequences, possession that makes no sense, it's a headache to figure out what's going on

 

Wow...tracking this one down was an exercise in futility! Why do authors randomly change the names of their stories or their nicknames? It just makes it harder to find them....

Anyway... The FF.net copy has disappeared. I have a copy under the name Emerald Fury by Jayden Riddle. There is an (updated?) copy over at harrypotterfanfiction.com here. The writer is now going by the name 'Bellamybabe' for some strange reason...

I'll be deleting the Emerald Fury version of the story in favor of a print version of the entire story, to be saved under the author's new name.

For those wondering this fic is complete, properly broken into 31 chapters, and the first couple of chapters were rewritten to remove the "child abuse." It's even got a completed sequel (though that one's epilogue may be in limbo).

 

Added the sequel to The Rage of Potter as part two, thanks for the notice!

I'm sorry, but this is just bloody awful! It hits all the Abused!Harry Post-OoTP clichés, has terrible characterisation, and the writing gets progressively worse.
