I must admit, that chapter was hilarious.

The constant admonishments by Dumbledore were amusing, but even more so were Harry's constant attempts to Obliviate them all.

"Why don't we all lower our occlumency barrier's and stare at my wand tip?"

The entire scene in the hospital wing was great, especially Snape getting obliviated by Dumbledore, *lols loudly*

 

Holy Fuck Indeed Nonjon, you have outdone yourself (which is quite an accomplishment) on this update.

The parts with Harry, The Potters, and Dumbledore were great in the Hospital Wing. It doesn't matter whether we are talking about Dumbledore obliviating Snape, Harry's constant attempts at attempting to memory charm everyone, Sirius and Harry's elaborate plan to get out, or Madam Pomphrey's diabolical confession. They were all simply brilliant or humorous in their own way.

The scene with Lily was fantastic, whether it be the banter, the big revelation, and Lily acceptance of Harry's reasoning. This was quite emotional and heart wrenching, but it made me yearn for some Harry/Lily.

Bizarro Prongs was pretty good in this chapter. We finally get to see he is not a complete anal retentive wanker, like we were led to believe.

Selection process for the Pensieve memories was very good, but I was saddened to see, that we did not get a perspective from any of the others while they were watching the aforemetioned memories. You could have went the Browncoat way, and had Harry show one of is memories. It is understandable why Harry didn't, but I was disappointed to see no reaction at from the other except the outrage at Lupin.

Auction was awesome, in fact it was sheer hilarity to see some of the quotes.

The reveal was certainly unexpected, but a great surprise. Even with all the likely candidates out there, this was not the one I was expecting at all. However, you display your creative genius rather well with this development. It makes terrible sense, but I don't think anyone saw it coming.

In short words "Fucking amazing Nonjon"...

 

As you're majorly implying that the Diary has taken over Neville’s body, I have to ask. Wasn't Neville’s eye color brown? Is it a different color in your story here? Or am I just putting too much literal meaning into the "Sometimes I prefer to think he lives on through me" line?

Twist at the end was spectacular as others have said. I laughed at Dumbledore 'galloping'

 

I'd been curious about a merger of that particular soul with the host it moves into as opposed to flat out possession. Are we going that route ("I like to think he lives on through me"), or did Riddle actually fully take over (it's already been spoiled, so I figured someone should ask) ?

Anyway, that question aside, I really liked the Lily/Harry interaction, and the Sarah bit was hilarious. Almost like she has a fetish for the dirty feeling, really. But yeah, you handled the 'family' interaction quite well, and the memory charm race for the mind of Severus Snape was pretty damned funny. As stated above...5/5 like the rest of the story.

 

Loved the chapter Nonjon! Though I do wonder this, if Harry really wanted out of the situation then why did he not just transform into a ghost and walk _through_ the door?

The identity of the Fucker was brilliant btw. A total surprise, but I suppose he really fits the prophecy too with being Voldemorts "equal". Absolutely wonderfull. Now you better get working on the next part because this kind of cliffhanger is really really evil of you!

 

I was curious if we might see an actual use of the

tag before the spoilers started flying, but alas it was not meant to be. It's kinda unavoidable too if you're trying to comment on and have a discussion about the latest cliffie.

I'm refraining from answering a lot of the questions, particularly because they're almost all going to be answered in the next chapter but I was pleased with the way the chapter turned out.

So many people are hung up on the eye color. But canon's never definitively said what color his eyes used to be. Only that Voldemort's eyes are red now. And in book 2 according to the lexicon they were described as 'dark' but Tom did admit "We even look something alike." To be honest, I'd always simply assumed green so I'm sticking with what I wrote (and my creative license wanted to play with the similarities between Harry and Tom). But the more indicative part was that this wizard's eyes were bright, not dark, not dull, and not red.

Harry's not that good at his animagus form. Three times he's transformed out of necessity or surprise. Never out of conscious thought. One time he did manage to change back consciously, the other two he was forced back by the spell.

But even still, this wasn't a 'I'm going to fight way out' kind of moment. More like a 'Hey what's that over your shoulder?' turn and run kind of moment.

 

Great chapter. Very amusing.

In case the head banging isn't enough of a hint, yes, it is implied that Neville got a hold of the Diary. I'm a bit curious though. Shouldn't Neville already have a horcrux in him from being the Boy-Who-Lived? I don't remember how you addressed this a couple chapters back. How do the two horcrux(es?) get along? Are they fighting for control or are they working together?

 

If I am not mistaken there never was a boy who lived in this world.
