Just from what I've seen among the forums. No offence intended. Really. I've seen you spot out all the little things I would never be able to. But thats a beta's job I guess. Seriously, I meant it as a compliment:eek:

I wasn't offended, just wondering if I'd missed one of those little things :D
And to the OP, if you read through every sentence slowly three or four times, you should catch most of your mistakes.

    Please help me.

    Title: Prophecy
    Ship: Harry/random night elf archer
    genre: AU, adventure

    Here's my plot:

chapter one -- harry gets sucked into a veil at DoM

chapter two -- he ends up in the WARCRAFT universe

chapter three -- he's lost his memory, but a paladin takes him in as his apprentice

chapter four -- They fight undead a lot

    What do you guys think?

I'm seriously putting too much effort into this...

Is that what you think to much effort is? 'Cause I think that is pathetic. This is gonna need alot of work in order to become a story. Of course I don't have time to give you help right now, to busy with homework, but just keep asking yourself questions until you have a workable plot.

Edit: Screw that, this is insta-fail.

If spending five minutes of your time to jot down a bare plot outline qualifies as 'too much effort' then you must be the busiest man on earth. Put a little more thought into it. At least your user name fits.

    Hmm.

You're right. It sounds like a hard story to write. Perhaps you might consider the following instead:

    Title: Lose
    Ship: Harry/random heavenly veela
    genre: Hurt/Angst

chapter one -- HP gets sucked into a veil at DoM. Dies.
    HG: Too bad Harry died.
RW: Yeah. Bloody hell, mate, why did you die?
    HG: Ron, language!
RW: Sorry. I'm hungry, let's eat.

Well perspicacity I was trying to be nice to him and help him, but I agree with you. What the hell is with all the HP/Warcraft crossovers?

Maybe, I was thinking that the popularity of WoW may have increased the number of crossovers.

    I'm not trolling.

I'm seriously going to write this story.

But I don't want to work too hard on it...

and I want it to be good at the same time.

    Any suggestions?

What will not working hard entail? Will you not use grammar, will you have a boring plot, will you give up after the first chapter?

If you aren't going to work hard on it, don't write it.

I don't know if your trying to live up to your (e)name, role-playing or if your just being a lazy son of a bitch like Ron Weasley. So pick one of those and tell us.

You see until you decided to defile us with the rank presence of your "idea" this thread was one filled with relative intelligence. Someone asked a thoughtful question about advice in writing, several authors have answered. Links have been provided, unknown terms explained, random jokes exchanged. All in all, a moderately decent thread.

Of course, along comes the 12-13 year old retard, enslaved to the World of Warcraft, currently draining away his bodily fluids for the next monthly subscription, with his amazing idea of a story.

In the future, please try to make it look as if your story ideas could not be written on a single piece of tissue. Otherwise, take the wise road of being simply a reader and not a writer.

As to your self proclaimed laziness, is this the new emo? Have I missed something while being stuck in England and the trends have changed? Is it in fashion now to be so horrendously retarded and to blame it on laziness? If you are too lazy to cure the world of the blight that is your existence, through the old fashioned way, may I recommend the following:
    • Jump in front of the train at any of the stations on the Piccadilly Line at rush hour. It takes minimum amount of effort and guaranteed instant success. I know hurrying is beyond your understanding, but do try to do it before they add the plastic/glass walls to prevent suicide.
    • If your location is not London, may I recommend you take a lift to the tallest building in your town/city/village/hovel and proceed to fly off the last floor. Taking the lift is hardly extenuating and you can even walk slowly from the doors to the edge if you wish.
    • I understand cutting might be a bit too much effort, but do give it a bit of thought. Make sure to sleep 12 hours afterwards, since it must be really tiring for one such as yourself.
    • If you need any more ideas, or the solutions I have presented are too difficult, not applicable, or unsuited for your current location and intellectual faculties, please make a post in your intro thread asking for help. I know it will be hard typing all those words, but it will be worthy. I guarantee instant, effortless success if you follow my advice. And since I am such a kind soul, I will do it all for free, so you may quicker meet whatever insane deity spawned your kind.
As to your comment on "Agent Double O Hex" use your own fucking review next time. Are you too fucking lazy to even do that?
