If you look at the rules again, you could see that 500 by 150 pixels or 48.8 KB (whichever is smaller) is on the "Upload your picture" section, not the "Link towards the web address of your pic" section.

I placed my signature to be read, the fact that truth annoys some people can be considered a bonus.

You're an idiot, get the fuck out. The rules are there for a reason, it's so that we don't have to get RSI's scrolling six thousand pages when your signature image is larger than your brain. Remove your signature, or reduce it to an acceptable size. Or even better, refrain from posting altogether.
