Nah, I was more interested in making the scene believable. If Fleur was skinny dipping the first time around, why wouldn't she be this time around?

If the scene wouldn't work without all of them skinny dipping, I'd have written it that way.

The bludgeoners are the equivalent of a jab in a boxing match. As these are not duels to the death, cutters and other spells designed to remove life and limb aren't allowed. That's the reason there is a referee.

The chapter is still with the betas. Odds are you aren't going to see it today.

I think we crossed the line from believable HP to unbelievable HP when Harry ends being his own...half? Father.

I said in my post I understood why for the tournament but in a fight for your life I wouldn't be throwing jabs I'd be going for the nuts and throat.

Also - This thread has an even worse review : bullshit ratio then Shezza's WBA threads.

An 8 year old is fine too.

I just reread the last two chapters, and they are as much fun the second time. I hope Draco suffers!

Door-hinge only rhymes when you're irish so it doesn't count

Anyone else find the Irish comment amusing? And by the way, making fun of Irish people this close to St. Patty's day earns you a visit from Thistle the Horrible, the enforcer of the Leprechauns.

    Ka-ching!

In a vain attempt to get this back on topic (especially considering I got it off topic) I give this story 4.5/5

4/5 for sheer brilliance, I wonder if the hat could convince Ginny that her life isn't worth living...anyway Cajun please dont turn this thread into another Irish themed wreck, we did it to Shezza in WBA ;)

Exactly what about it do you 'resent'? The fact that you're Chinese, or the fact that the joke does indeed apply to you and/or your immediate friends & family?

So if we hunt down his betas, do we get the chapter?

    ...quick, go get the pitchforks!

    I'm chinese.

Doesn't matter too much though. My buddies make fun of that almost everyday, and I tease them for being Irish.

Wow, quick edit. Though one has to wonder, considering the US is a melting pot can you really be considered chinese? Or are you american instead? Bah I hate thinking of stuff like that.

In anycase I love this story, not as much as turn me or DR/DK but I love it. Good plot, supremely good writing, and a interesting style.
    5/5 Overall so far

You know we were talking about ways to kill Draco a while ago? I was thinking if you used a sticking charm to fix his feet to the floor then levitated his arms, wouldn't that replicate the effects of a rack quite nicely?

Better idea: Sticking Charm his feet to the ceiling and transfigure his hands into Uranium. Not only would his hands become incredibly heavy, they'd also irradiate his bloodstream, thus ensuring no more little Malfoys.

Transfiguring his white blood cells into plutonium would be better.

Oooh, radioactive AIDS. I like that. Plus, it means his blood will ignite if he gets a cut.
