Tom Riddle and Albus Dumbledore.

I greatly admire Dumbledore's manipulative abilities. Tom Riddle managing to get control of the Slytherin House as a poor half-blood bastard is also impressive. And they are the most accomplished wizards in the series. Harry should have the same talent as them.

 

Dumbledore would be my favourite character for all the reasons so far mentioned, though Lily is not far behind.

As a side thought, surely the OPer is a troll. Do we have some new way of dealing with them? I.e. Humouring them and playing along with their bollocks?

Does anyone like Ron or Hermione?

 

A few might like Hermione (I think she's good in canon pre-HBP, so long as I don't let my view of her be clouded by fanon!Hermione) but you'll be hard pressed to find a Ron-lover.

Treading into possible troll-land, my friend.

Ron's a moronic, belching, mouth-breathing, binge-eating sidekick who doesn't even work for comic relief. He's also a latent parseltongue, apparently, and a master of the "putter-outer," two skills that will take him far, I'm sure.

Hermione is an imperious intellectual snob of passable looks and questionable judgment whose greatest pleasure in life is lording her ability to spout deus ex machina tidbits at just the right times. But she can properly cast (though can't aim for shit) a confringo, so she wasn't all bad by the end of the war. She fell from grace once she became an incubator for the ginger-haired rednecks.

In short, I love 'em. Can't read enough about 'em.

Personaly I like Dumbledore the most. The reason why has been stated a couple times before in the thread.

 

NICK-NOCK I think the reason you will find very few Ron, Snape, Remus, or Harry lovers here is that this site is mainly dominated by males. And those characters are much more popular in the female community of HP fans, for whatever reason. Personally, I love all of those characters listed above, (aside from Harry), because the depth of their characters is deep, if you care to look.

And I also like Luna, Hermione, and Sirius. Oh, and Molly. She kicks ass.
