I'm so glad the focus shifted back to actual main character. There is no way Itachi can truly be dead, not that easily. Hopefully we will actualy get to see Tobi/Madara in a real fight.

anyone have an idea on what the Rin'negan is supposed to see? some think it's the soul of a person because of Pein's ability to control 6 different bodies. I think it's the world itself since he can, theoretically, control all 6 of nature's chakra.

 

What gave you the idea that thats what sharingan and byakugan meant?
Its simply a bloodline that focuses on the eyes, its true powers are still unknowm.

 

I'm not talking about the definitions of the word. the word "Byakugan" literally means "White eye" and the word "Sharingan" means "Copy Wheel Eye". What I stating is the symbolic meaning, or the essence, of the bloodline.

for the Sharingan and the Byakugan, that was a very simplified and general description of their main abilities.

The Byakugan "peers into body" because it's capable of seeing the body systems: chakra, nervous, and perhaps circulatory or muscular/skeletal.

As for the Sharingan, its base target is the mind of a person. The ability to predict a person's next move, the ability to hypnotize said person, and as Sasuke did to Naruto, the ability to enter/have a mental manifestation someone's mind. Thus, the Sharingan "peers into the mind."

it may be a simple bloodline, but you can't deny the meaning behind it.

 

Peering into the soul would explain the whole God thing Pein has going on, and what better way to see how pointless fighting is than by seeing into the souls of the worst kind of people? Wonder what happens when he looks at a Jinchuuriki... Would he see two souls in one body?

I'm more inclined to think that the three doujutsu are based on the components of chakra:

Byakugan deals with the physical component.

Sharingan deals with the spiritual component.

Rin'negan deals with chakra in its entirety, thus its superiority.

Just a guess.

I'm surprised that people here at DLP hate Sasuke. I always figured him to be like the Dark!Harry everyone around here is so into.

I'm going to do a little exercise here to show you what I mean:

Voldemort is out there somewhere, and Harry knows it is up to him to kill him. He is fed up with Dumbledore holding him back so that he stays firmly in the light, and so he leaves Hogwarts and all his friends who at this point would be more of a burden than a benefit to him.

He approaches a dark wizard with power greater than Dumbledore (for this example lets say Grindelwald). He pledges his allegiance to him, all the while knowing that at some point he is going to have to double cross him to truly get what he wants. After three years of training, he is finally ready to defeat Voldemort, but first he must defeat Grindelwald. Meanwhile a Weasley is trying to get him back to Hogwarts.

Substitute the following:
Dumbledore -> Kakashi
Voldemort -> Itachi
Grindelwald -> Orochimaru
Hogwarts -> Konoha
Harry -> Sasuke
Weasley -> Naruto/Sakura

Sasuke is nowhere near to being like an indy Harry or even a Dark Harry.

Sasuke is a spoiled little pretty boy that had everything handed to him... Harry on the other hand has never had anything really handed to him. Even the fame and fortune that Harry has is more of a burden than anything, and instead makes him a target for derision and hatred, rather than a figure to be admired or praised.

Learn this. The reason Sasuke sucks is thus: Sasuke never has to WORK for anything. A story where someone just coasts along, never having to struggle to win, and where victories just get handed out to them like fucking candy is made of failure.

This is why part 1 of Naruto was good, and part 2 fucking sucks. People in part 2 that have worked hard and who SHOULD be shown as fucking kicking ass are being shown to be chumps by Kishimoto and those that haven't worked and sacrificed are being hyped to fucking hell and back and simply can't lose because the mangaka won't let them.

This is piss poor story telling.

The billion and one new powers of the Uchiha's Sharingan are evidence of this trend. Only a fucking chump of a story teller keeps adding on powers after powers to build hype instead of actually concentrating on the story and developing the fucking CHARACTERS that the story is supposed to be about.

Kishimoto's latest failure with how he ended the Sasuke/Itachi fight is evidence of how fucking awful a mangaka Kishimoto is.

Someone needs to 2x4 his fucking skull in at this point, end the manga before it becomes worse than it already is.

 

hehe, I've been waiting to see your reaction to the latest chapter, P.I. at least we can take solace in the fact that Sasuke didn't actually kill Itachi. He just happen to be there when Itachi died. So any theories on what may have happen to Itachi that caused him die? I think he may have tried to defeat Madara prematurely but got his ass handed to him.

 

My reaction... Kishimoto just flushed this manga down the toilet with yet more Sasuke bullshit. He had a prime opportunity to fix the manga and give Sasuke an attitude adjustment... and instead he pissed all over it, shat on it, and flushed it. As of now, Kishimoto is effectively the worst Mangaka in history.


Now, as to what's gonna happen....Who fucking knows at this point *throws up hands* Kishimoto clearly doesn't have a clue what he's doing so how should we know for that matter? The more important question is "who cares?" Not me at this point. There's simply nothing TO care about. Sasuke will continue to get whatever he wants, Naruto will continue to get fucked over and nerfed at every turn... and the manga will continue to revolve around the swirling sucking vortex that is the Uchiha dojutsu.

Seriously though, I know how the internet can distort the tone of a person's post, and I sincerely am NOT directing any ire or frustration at you... I'm just tired of Kishimoto's crap. I'm pretty much done with this manga because the author has taken it from being a pretty fun manga and ground it into the ground by his non stop Uchiha cock smoking.

I'd much rather read a GOOD manga like Onepiece where the author writes actual CONTENT rather than 20 fucking pages of people staring at each other and saying "..."

I mean fuck...at this point he's not even writing important events and is instead just fucking with the fans.

Fuck, I'd rather have had Oro fucking anihilate Sasuke's soul for the rest of the manga than to have Sasuke rescued from his own fucking stupidity of going to Oro in the first place by Itachi just saving his ass like that.

There there was those serpents (that were from orochimaru) as they went slithering away in one chapter... and it's like "Ohhh look... Oro is going to be reunited with Kabuto"... and then Kishi goes, "Oh, PSYCHE! Ha Ha the stupid snake slithers right into the flames (right before they go out) and is burned to death... No oro for you."

There simply comes a point when the author has so RUINED the message of the manga that he needs to have one of his fans kick the ever loving shit out of him and break his hands before he can ruin it more. Kishi has hit that point.

Shit... A couple days ago I read a post with a link to an actual MEME has been created for Kishimoto...This was on the Television without pity site I think. It said that "Uchiha syndrome" was defined as when an author creates a story with dozens of fascinating and interesting characters, but then ruins it by marginalizing and ignoring the interesting characters while instead focusing on a few select members of an emo family that are taciturn and disfunctional, but otherwise much less interesting then any of the other characters in the story.

All I know is that the next time a mangaka is known for betraying the central concept of his manga... (Sasuke fulfilled all his goals... proving that the whole will of fire thing is trumped by the "Will of Hatred") that it'll be known as "pulling a Kishimoto"
