For those newbies starting up, don't settle for anything not in the Beer/Fast Food/Construction trade set. It ruins your chances of trades in the future, a couple of days to get decent trades is very beneficial in the future.

 

Word. It really disturbs me how many noobs (not just god) don't seem to know this. The information is flashed in front of their face every other day it seems.

at first you go to www.cybernations.net , create an account and a nation. Then you post your resources here and we'll tell you if they're good to keep.
Then you go to the GOD forums (yes, you have the right link) and post in the pinned thread in the welcoming hall and wait until someone masks you so you can see the whole forum.
Then you read it, starting with the nation building guide which will tell you everything you need to know.
