the "Tobito" theory makes sense seeing as Madara acts like a non-composite shell of energy, or basically, a spirit. It's the only way to explain how he moves at the speed of light and how he has obito's body.

 

I didn't notice that...I still stand by my theory though. the speed at which he traveled would have strained his body to the max. Everyone should know that the faster you move over a distance, the greater the force on your body.

That's a pretty limited way of thinking when you're looking at a world full of ninja that can control a form of energy that lets them manipulate the elements.

 

true, but are they themselves pure manifestations of energy? can they, like Madara, turn their true body (not clones) incorporeal, intangible substance, especially at will and in an instant?

 

We're still not sure how powerful things like seals are. After all, the hiraishin allowed the Yondaime to instantly travel to wherever he placed his seal. It's possible that he's just using something like a seal to modify his body.

We don't know everything about how chakra can be used, we don't know its limits.

Edit: Plus, there can be any number of idiotic bloodline abilities that can be used to introduce a new awesome power.

 

Well just wanted to throw this out for the Tobi=Obito theorists.

In a long ago interview Kishi said one of his favorite manga's was Dragon Ball Z and it still helps to inspired him while writing. Now I think it's fair to say DBZ had it's fair share of resurrecting old characters, so it is a strong possibility.

 

In the Narutoverse, seals are meant to contain objects of various nature, from an explosion (the seals hold gunpowder) to the Cursed Seal (holds a special enzyme that supercharges chakra) to the Shiki Fujin (holds the Kyuubi). Even the Hiraishin, which I believe seals the Yondai into a pocket dimension. Every seal in Naruto is meant to hold something.

What you are saying is that Madara could have learned how to seal his physical body while keep his spirit in the real world. It's plausible but it is not objecting against my theory. I could even say it's helping it.

Yes we do. As shown by the Uchihas, Yondai, the Bijuus, and even Naruto, chakra can do ANYTHING one has in mind. From summoning a god, THE Death God, to sealing what is said to be the most powerful entity in the verse, to controlling minds, bodies, and nature, even space and time, we see that chakra has no set limits. The only limit is on the person, not chakra: that either you don't have enough chakra or the correct method to perform the technique you want.

that's why i asked would awesome if Tobito was Itachi. and because i want to see Sasuke descend into pure insanity...but it's not gonna happen. a man can dream though.

 

I just had a truly epic thought! Kabuchimaru, in all his epicness, using the Edo Tensai to bring back Itachi to fight Sasuke . I so want to see that now.

Kishi has to MEGA-GIMP Itachi so that someone could kill him in the first place, there's no way in hell that he'd ever bring him back as a self-regenerating immortal scion of death.

All I want to know is why Naruto isn't the main character in this manga any more. I mean, it has been headed that way for awhile, but this most recent chapter basically seals it.

What I wonder the most about is why Tobi wanted to collect Itachi's body? Could it be that he, like Orochimaru, needs a new body once in a while? As long as it doesn't have to do with giving Sasuke the mangekyo sharingan I'll be happy.

Look down at the bottom and you'll see what I'm talking about. Kishi seems to make it pretty clear to me.
