Naruto Genkyouien is at chapter five now, and Fuinjutsu is now up to chapter 11.

 

Oh gawd. I is hoping for a Yuri-Harem.

 

I am in a bit of a conundrum. I wish for this fic I am posting to get the focus I feel it deserves yet I fear it will be ignored if I post it in the Naruto fanfic list however I do so anyway because I honestly don't know where else I could post it so here it is...

Despite the summery and how the fic started, if I am remembering right, the story itself was fantastic, also it happened to be the fic that turned me on the Naru/Hina....sadly one of the very few that I have ever found that was actually worth anything.

Anyway the basic premise is that instead of leaving with Jiraiya, Tsunade called in a favor from an ex apprentice of hers, and when that came up it reeked of Mary Sue to me, surprisingly, at least for me, the author, though coming a bit too close for comfort, managed to keep the OC from ruining the story and even contributed significantly to the story, hell she wasn't even overpowered.

How Hinata figured into this was funny as she was shoved off by her father into it to get her out of the way and apparently he didn't realize they would be gone for three years. This is an OLD story and was the third story I ever read in the Naruto fandom so it has a place in my heart.

Sadly it was to be the first in a 3 part series, but the original author DameWren gave up on fanfiction three chapters into the sequel Twice Shy, but a new author named J R LeDoux has reposted this old favorite of mine and the first three of Twice Shy in preparation to continue where Wren left off. He has so far written two chapters of his own for Twice Shy and they look good, but its still too soon to tell if he will do it any justice.

So what do you guys think?

 

I always liked Two Halves, one of the first Naruto fics I ever read. I was really sad when DameWren stopped writing Twice Shy. I'm glad someone has picked it up. I'll need to re-read everything and see the new chapters of Twice Shy. Definitely a good fic.

I facepalm at every chapter. It's a good facepalm, though.

 

Genkyouien is great. I enjoy it almost as much as Fuujinroku. The last chapter of Genkyouien was great and his update speed is much better than Fuujinroku.

Holy crap i thought he was describing something near-sexual like he always did, but he didn't. O_O. This, my friends, is why anon should write fan fiction .

When he switched perspective to Sakura I was thinking he was going to have her walk in on him or something.

Maybe have him race to the door and open it part way... only to see Sakura there. Then end up having the Kitsune start blowing him while he's behind the door and Sakura can't see him getting serviced.

This is a fine example of why this fandom needs more channers writing fics made with epic lulz

Case 13's best work. He may be a bit of a dick, and he may have the attention span of a goldfish, but you can't deny he's got creativity in spades.

 

EPIC. My new favourite next to Genkyouien. Still a little wary of the Naruto U/Sasuke U pairing though.

Yes, however more than likely any story with Naruto/Sasuke as main characters, are probably pairings, its how fangirls lurk at ff. I can see this isn't though, even if it was the humor is win.

 

This is so very unfortunate. These kinds of fics are my absolute favorite.

Naruto-Sasuke brotherly fics (no buttsecks), lulzy or not, FTW!

 

To be honest, Naruto/Oiroke-no-Jutsu!Sasuke would be win.
