I like the death scene. Completely appropriate. I'd prefer he die because of some kind of underhanded tactic like getting shot in the back during a one-on-one battle. Dieing honorably would just make me hate him even more.

 

I just had a thought. Lelouch's Geass 'evolved' in season 1 making it impossible to turn off. I wonder if it developed some other kind of ability, specificly the memory alteration that seems to be running rampant in Area 11...

 

I'm thinking that was either V.V. or the Emperor rather than Lelouch's Geass, but I could be wrong.

One little thing I just noticed. I was re-watching the first few episodes and we got a shot of the Emperor in episode 6 and he said, "I was just speaking with Clovis." Well Clovis died in episode 3, so unless that was a very poor flashback preceeded by someone else's body being announced, he was talking to his dead son. I was thinking that may be some clue to his Geass ability, but I don't know what exactly to make of it.

 

I doubt it, if that was the case it wouldn't have worked on lelouch in the first place. He already used his geass on himself before. Even if it did evolve, it would still be the same contract, meaning it wouldn't work on him again. The same goes for everyone else he used it on.


I'm thinking this is either the emperor's ability, or Suzaku's. Or possibly V.V., but I just don't see a reason for her to do that.

EDIT: anyone have a relative idea on how much time we should look for in between episodes? I realize the show gets aired once a week, but how long should sub groups take on releasing their versions?

 

I can usually get a good subbed torrent by Sunday night, which isn't bad.

 

Man did anyone else think Callen in a bunny suit = super hot?

 

She's always the eye-candy of the show. First we had the shower incident, then we saw how she always bends forward to pilot her Knightmare, and now the bunny-suit. Her skills as a pilot are pretty good too.

Did anyone catch that the colors inverted the very moment that we should have seen C.C. naked. It was when she was unlocking Lelouch's power. They inverted just for the moment that we would see her breasts.

 

CG can do with some more bare breasts. I remember in the first season when the silver haired chick loses her memory, and there's a shot of her tits while she sits on a bed. I was surprised because it came out of nowhere, but I enjoyed it.

More bare tits please.

 

Oh yeah... that's right. Lelouch did Geass himself. I totally forgot about that. Maybe that'll be important sometime in the future?

Well, I'm fairly certain Geass airs tonight (or tomorrow night, I forget which). Ep1 was subbed in under 24 hours, so it'll be 6-48 hours past the raw's release date.

The first group that subbed Geass was horribly slow... I think they were [Orange] or something, they took 2 weeks to sub 1 episode. A different group is subbing this time, I think. But really, there's no telling how long it will take. I'll try to watch Tokyotoshokan for when it's subbed, I'll post here when it's up.

 

Thanks, after doing a little research (meaning google search "Code Geass R2 Subbed by?") I found that at least GG and Eclipse are subbing. Good news, Eclipse is a quality group from what I've seen.

I've watched the RAW and it's good, finally some answers to the cliffhanger at the end of season 1. I can't wait to watch the subbed version though. I'll wait to discuss the episode content in detail until I've watched the subs.

So now it's confirmed that Rollo has a Geass. I wonder what exactly his does and how all the Geass differ from one another. Rollo's Nightmare Frame was amazing and I can't wait to see what its limits are.

The Governor-General is gone already. On that note, is Cornelia dead? Gilford was there and he usually accompanies Cornelia everywhere. I thought the Kallen/Lelouch meeting was good, and I laughed when he said what we all were thinking about the bunny suit.

I liked Zero using the Chinese Federation room as their headquarters, and I'm pretty sure the guy with the high-pitched voice was under Geass because of how his eyes were red around the edges.

That's most of my notes. I can't wait until the next episode.

Suzaku is definitely a traitor now. He sold his best friend out to get a promotion. I can't believe he has the gall to say he is doing things the "right way." Honestly he killed his father, ignored the fact that his best friend's sister had been kidnapped, and then sold out his best friend to the person who orchestrated the kidnapping. I can't wait until he dies. At least Lelouch doesn't pretend to be a saint.

 

Reading an interview with the creators of the show prior to the actual release, they said something like this on the subject of rollo "Rollo will be a character that the yaoi fangirls will love". This was later clarified as saying that Rollo and Zero will probably end up working together. This will be interesting.

Now we know it was the emperor that rewrote Lelouch's memories, now I'm just wondering if thats his only ability >_>.

We know Rollo has a geass, wondering what it's ability is though. The emperor placed Rollo close to Lelouch for a reason, no doubt about it. But why?

Probably not. In one of the first episodes Emperor was standing in that shrine/weapon/flouting building and said he spoke with Clovis - which by that time had a nice, new hole to his brain, courtesy of Lelouch's .

Well Chinese ambassador on helium was defiantly under the Geass and Rollo's Lancelot look-a-like that can turns itself invisible was a bit of a let down. I mean this ins't Gundam we don't need a slew of superpowered mecha's to keep us entertained. And the Emperor's Geass being in both eyes was really interesting to me, could this be a premonition of what's to come for Lelouch.
