I have the same translation as Mindless. I think your sub is just a bad translation Kalas. I also don't see any possibility of Lelouch stealing Rollo's Geass, but he'll probably get Rollo to work for him. So in a way he will have Rollo's Geass under his control.

 

On a completely unrelated note, aren't the Chinese kicking so much ass right now? Xingke totally owns with a fucking sword. That's ridiculous.

Mindless, right now they are getting played. Their representative is under Geass. However, they have potential for major ass-kicking. The Xingke's sword is sweet and the Nightmare Frame we see in the opening is promising.

In an odd twist today, the final six minutes of the third episode of CODE GEASS R2 were leaked a few hours ago.

The clip had Lelouch out with Shirley, Lelouch outwitting the Britannians, Lelouch confronting Rollo but instead getting surprised by Rollo’s Geass ability (which is apparently not teleport but time-stop), and Li Xingke attacking some Black Knight members and saying that the Black Knights perish there.

According to a 2ch post, one of the staff members was arrested, and episode three may not air this weekend (to be decided tomorrow). Supposedly the alternatives are to air either a shortened version of the episode four or nothing at all this weekend while they remake episode three. That’s very disturbing news to say the least, but I can understand why they might feel inclined to do that since the leaked part does have some huge spoilers for the entire episode. And given that they’re thinking about remaking some of it, it’s not even clear if the leaked part is canon anymore. In any case, an official announcement will probably come in the next 24 hours, and I’ll be sure to update this post.

Seriously? That's major suckage right there. How could they possibly remake the episode without changing the plotline, though?

 

What?!? OK I can understand people being pissed about their show being leaked, but remaking the entire episode? That's ridiculous. Code Geass is well thought out enough that all events tie into the plot in various important ways. Remaking the episode would not accomplish anything in fact it might even ruin the show.

On a separate not I've had a thought and an inquiry...

Suzaku is now a Knight of the Round, which apparently consists of the 12 best pilots in the Army. Now even with Rollo's semi-canon Geass ability he has some very sweet moves in a Knightmare frame. Maybe he's the Knight of the Round that got kicked out to make room for Suzaku? Could explain why he'd work for Zero, revenge is a powerful motivator.

And in episode 19(ish) when Lelouch used his Geass on Euphemia, for very amusing results, the Emperor immediately knew from his place in the Sword of Akasha, but I seem to remember about 4 Black Cloaked-and-Hooded minions standing behind him... what's their story I wonder?

EDIT: And yeah my translation for episode 2 was horrible.

 

The only reason I could see for them remaking the episode was if what was leaked was actually not material from episode three but, actually, parts they edited out or cut. There would be no reason to change an entire episode because of a leak. Kalas was right, Code Geass is too well thought out and meticulously planned for them to change things on the fly.

The content is interesting. I wonder if Xingke has discovered that Zero used his Geass to get their cooperation or if this was merely part of his own planned rebellion. I think I heard somewhere that he wants to lead a rebellion for the Chinese Federation, but don't quote me on that.

Rollo I considered being a Knight of Round, but I've come to believe that he was never a part of the group. Part of my own assumption about Rollo's Geass comes from the videogame Code Geass: Lost Colors, which shows Rollo as being able to warp to places. I believe that the superb piloting he did with Vincent couldn't be because of the machine and was actually because of his Geass. It's simply not possible for a human to do that. So if Rollo was on the Knights of Rounds, then that group would have seen him in action and it would be likely that his Geass would be exposed. I can't see the Emperor letting him join that group and allowing the secret of Geass to possibly leak. That's my theory, but I could be wrong.

Hopefully they don't skip this week's episode. We shall have to wait and see.

EDIT: Kalas, Lelouch used his Geass on Euphemia in episode 22. I think the way that the Emperor seems to know everything is related to the Thought Elevator that he has mentioned, but it could also have something to do with the Sword of Akasha. The robed figures are suspicious though, they've been to his sanctuary. That is troubling.

Seriously though, those last 5 minutes were good (after I got a translation) - and confirmed some of my speculations - so I would hate for it to become...non-canon.

 

Besides the "SNAPE KILLS DUMBLEDORE" thing that sounded pretty good. Please never include anything from HBP in with Code Geass spoilers. There is no reason to ruin the awesomeness of Code Geass with HBP failure. I didn't see the clip and can't find it so I'll have to wait until the weekend.

Time Stop was one thing I considered for Rollo. I'll be interested to see what drawbacks/limitations it has.

It's odd, the article was dated April 2nd. I think they will continue as scheduled. I definitely didn't hear anything about episode four, only the alst few minutes of episode three. YAY a torrent, John I owe you one.

 

Not much to see anyway, and unless you can translate (I can't sadly =/) the only thing that gets confirmed is Rollo's Geass ability. Which was pretty much already guessed on this forum (hey maybe the creators should employ some o the people here ).

 

They already gave it away when they released the video game Code Geass: Lost Colors. Rollo's ability in that game is similar to his in the anime. Seeing how he used his Vincent model confirmed my theory on his Geass. Unfortunately the tracker on the torrent had been removed, but I found another RAW video. I can get the gist of what happens from watching the RAW. I've watched enough anime that I can figure most of it out. I can't wait for the full episode this weekend, why couldn't they leak a longer piece...

 

Supposedly the rumor is that this was just 4/4 out of a 4 piece leak (the whole episode) and 1/4, 2/4, and 3/4 were all caught before they hit "general population" so to speak.
