During my time of reading HP fanfiction, one pairing I tend to have a hard time finding is HP/PP. (Hehe, P, P...)

So anyway, what I would like is some possible novel length ff with the Harry/PP. Novel length isn't necessary but would be liked.

Not Bloody Likely Is an excellent fic that moves at a steady pace. It gets better as the story moves along, the only downside is that it's also a Parvati pairing.

The Object lessons trilogy by Jeconais' is another good one.

Sixth Year: Steps before the end Is a brilliant fic but it's not definitley a Harry/Padma. Of all of the fics, I think that Darren captured her personality the best. Oh and he's promised me a smut scene so...

The rest are mainly just harem stories that don't capture my attention. Those are my favorites.

If you don't mind fluff there's also this: Chance to get it right. A short piece, about as long as the Object Lessons Trilogy, and completed just yesterday.

Long stories are very rare -- Not Bloody Likely is about the only one I know of that is still constantly updated. There's one more that is supposed to be Harry/Padma, but it hasn't seen updates since last autumn, so it might be abandoned: Of Gryffindors and Ravenclaws

And of course, there's Seratin's own works, which he forgot to mention in his post ;)
Harry Potter and the Tide of War. But he put it on hiatus.

Its not abandoned, Its still on FF.net. Patronuscharm just doesn't seem to like me, it fucked up all the chapters. I was writing a little more of it this evening, I just think that Diadem has more promise.

Oh and who is Ginnylover14? Because if thats my fanbase then I'm quitting now.;)

P.S, Hows the beta of chapter three coming along?

Why, one of your reviewers, of course :p Just goes to show that you can't pick your readers... his/her profile looks like a retarded monkey on crack walked all over the keyboard, but no reason to quit writing, really. Maybe they can even recommend your story to their friend, SlashFan13

...err. Well. All in good fun, yes? *looks around shiftily*

Ahem. It's been awhile since I read HP&tToW, so if Oz is currently betaing, I just might have to re-read it.

Awesome. From the bottom of my ugly toes, I thank you all.

Although this Ginnylover14 makes me wonder if I really should read Seratin's fics...>_> I kid of course. I believe 'Diadem' has a lot of potential.

The strangest thing is that when I mentioned that I was going to write a sex scene to my girlfriend, she hounded me for the next week to start writing it right then. I haven't written it yet, as I want to be in the right mood to capture the emotions as best as possible, and it is a ways off yet, but hopefully it'll be worth it. Same goes for the other sex scenes.

On Topic: The other two Sera mentioned are probably the best out there. I thoroughly enjoy/ed both and am impatiently waiting for the next update in Not Bloody Likely.

Re. Ginnylover. He/she's reading mine as well. Well, quite a number are too, which still continues to surprise. Over 70k views 0_0

Re. Chance To Get It Right - I read that yesterday and, despite how much fluff it had, it was worth the half hour. Well written, albeit short.

Am now off to read Of Gryfs and Claws, just cause I haven't yet and I'm waiting for my beta to get back to me on chapter fourteen of mine. It'll be around the weekend I post it, as I have a few more things to change that I remembered to do belatedly.

EDIT: Sesc, you sure Gryfs and Claws is worth it? I skimmed the first chapter after reading the summary and it does not look too good at all.

My bad. I should've said that -- in contrast to Chance to get it right, it's been ages since I read that story, about the only thing I knew was that it had Harry/Padma in the summary, and that it was spelling wise okay.

Well, now that you asked I went to refresh my memory, and it seems like the answer to your question is sadly no. Dumbledore there manipulated everything since the beginning of time, Harry teams up with Snape and later McGonagall, gets his Magical maturity, and soon after that, it breaks off.

It could be worth it, but Padma isn't even mentioned so far. So basically, I apologise for that link; scratch it from the list or at least forget about it until it gets updated.

    EDIT:

Something new just popped up. Just one chapter, so no real basis to judge the whole story (yes, it is a multi-chaptered story, alternate Fourth-Year), but it sounds as if the author knows what they're doing. Here's hoping that it doesn't fall apart after the next few chapters: Rustlings in the Dark

And on another note, however desperate you are, if you stumple upon that fic: The Spell of Light while browsing ff.net, you might reconsider giving it a try. It features blatant OC-Mary-Sue-Self-Insert-ism; the POV is from a character named like the author's penname, who is also a singer. I think that says it all.

Different Timeline should also be mentioned for completeness sake. This pairing certainly needs a lot more attention from authors.

That was quite the good read, despite a few qualms I have with it.

Pronglet? No, just no. Not in this timeline, not in the next.

Also: "The third part of our triad. Temperamental, wears his heart on his sleeve, but you couldn't find a more loyal friend on this Earth." - Not sure if the author was reading the same books as we were, but it was a minor thing, so it only irked me for a minute or so after reading it.

Will read the 'sequel' that some other author wrote tomorrow. Not enough Padma though.

I read one Fem!Harry/Padma long ago. Anyone has a link for that? (And I doubt I need to describe it since I'm sure that particular ship has a fic population of exactly 1)

Otherwise, crappy pairing since most authors make Padma a Hermione without the more irritating character traits. Besides, considering how airy Parvati is, its pretty unlikely that Padma has had a very difficult or different life, and is probably more or less, your run of the mill schoolgirl. And since JKR didn't really flesh out her character besides saying that she was smart and (in fourth year, out of Ron's mouth so I'ma doubting the objective validity of the statement) beautiful... this gives authors a blank slate so any H/P I've read is pretty much H/Generic-Character with the name Padma slapped upon it with glue.

So, really... H/P facination... meh. There are greener pastures in the verdant.

Of course Daphne is a wonderfully fleshed out character with a backround story and her own unique personality. (Sarcasm was dripping from that sentance)

I read A different timeline a while back and it does has potential but there are a few too many cliches for me.
