Haha, I know, some things you read and then feel so ashamed for enjoying it.

I have a weakness for crossovers in the crime shows, Numb3rs, CSIs, NCIS, etc. Most of them are crap, but fun crap. Like Marian Keyes novels, I know they rot your brain, but I occasionally read them anyway.

My idea was to have a Ministry Obliviator squad stumble across a Cobra Crimson Guard mission in Britain. The guardsmen are understandably shocked and confused when the Ministry's anti-firearm wards prevent their weapons from functioning.... and that's as far as I've gotten so far.

I once found a Sherlock Holmes/Star Wars crossover. It wasn't actually bad, but I sure stared at it for a long time before clicking.

And all those YuGiOh/HP mutations. I just don't get them. Or Digimon/HP. *shudder*

I tried, but I can't stand it. It's horrific. I persevered through the first five chapters looking for any redeeming value. There is none.

    Psst. Post an intro.

I will admit to enjoying crossovers with crime shows as well. Most of them are bad, but I enjoy them anyway. It's sad. Most anime crossovers with Harry Potter fail automatically. I've given up looking for good ones.

Oh well, I personally enjoy it, and some parts of the later chapters are absolutly hilarious.

Well, here's the story. It's got 30 chapters, 200 reviews and doesn't make you want to drop it like it's on fire. I'd have to post the whole first chapter to actually get to the crossover part, though.

He meant an introduction about yourself in the introduction forum.

    I think.

Wow, someone actually reads the introduction forum here? That's new. Hm, I'll have to think of something. ._.

I'm surprised that no one has yet mentioned Tenhawk's prolific Journeyverse series. It's based primarily in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer universe. There's no Harry Potter to be found but the rather large series manages to successfully cross dozens upon dozens of other universes. I came across it late last year and enjoyed reading it. As for Harry Potter crossovers, I've never actually seen a multi-crossover story work well. I generally enjoy crossovers but many of them are going to be bad right out of the gate because they are incompatible with each other. Especially when trying to integrate differing systems of magic. I'm of the opinion that 99% of fanfiction sucks. The only reason anyone reads it at all is because there so much of it that the remaining 1% is still a rather substantial amount. There are far fewer crossovers than non-crossovers so finding a good one is much more difficult.

I did write a Buffy fic once that is long since gone that was a huge multi-crossover, and the idea was that this was a unique universe for having so many diverse heroes and villains in it.

Just in case: In the off chance someone asks me what all was in it, I'm going to be proactive and ask: "Do you REALLY want to know?" Granted, the whole intent was that this was an odd version of Earth to have so many of these characters, but still...

I don't see why anyone would want to write a multi-crossover x 2 except to prove that they can.

Defying Fate: Journey of the Offworlder could be considered a multi-crossover, given that it fuses the Final Fantasy worlds (VII-X) together before adding HP into the mix. Still pretty funky though, and at least the magic systems can coexist well enough.

    Journeyverse is pretty cool.
