Ummm... really, it wasn't all that suprising. I didn't think Kishimoto would do it,
but I wasn't shocked when I read the chapter. Intrigued, but not suprised.

 

Nah, it wasn't exactly a big leap for me to guess where he would take it. How many ways can you take redeemed!Itachi without it being completely inane and stupid? If Itachi was a good guy, there had to be an explanation for why he killed off the Uchiha, and the most logical assumption I could make would be that he was ordered to do it.

Of course I didn't know for certain who would know of it, or even if it was Sarutobi who gave the order (given that Itachi was in ANBU, and Danzo was the ANBU Commander at the time).

Also, I lost all my faith when Sasuke was given the Mangekyou under the stupidest pretences. The only way it may be redeemed in my eyes is if Itachi takes over Sasuke's body... or Orochimaru does the same.

Really, the repetitiveness of this story is mind boggling, and if that isn't shitting on it, then I don't know what is.

 

I'm going to be optimistic about this and say Kishi will give a good reason for Redeemed!Itachi... After 10+ chapter's of BS, I don't think there is much to fuck up anyway.

I'm just happy the Sasuke's MS wasn't for good.

 

You had to be blind if you didn't see the redeemed!Itachi coming.

But it's not a bad thing. Maybe shinobi will be actual backstabbing bastard who have no qualms in culling an entire clan and no happy goody fools who just protect princess.

I am hoping that Naruto will soon have his wake up call and stop living in his utopian world... But I am pretty sure that it's just wishful thinking.

Still it's quite sad that the last and maybe only convincing vilain end up to be a good guy or at least seems.

 

wait a minute. Itachi shouldn't be redeemed at all. Hell, in fact, this word, "redeemed" isn't even suppose to be here. It was a job. A job that got in his way of his morals of right and wrong. He threw away his sense of self to do the job and did it right. If itachi has to be redeemed, it should be the time when he tortured Sasuke during the slaughter of the uchiha clan.

Also, Naruto already know that. It's fanon what your thinking. Naruto killed itachi look alike without any qualms. In fact, after the kill, it looked like it wasn't even his first time. And from the looks of it, he would kill again like a true shinobi. And since this is most popular with underage kids, it's going to be heavily edited.

 

What are you talking about? Naruto has yet to fight Sasuke with the intent to kill.

 

What i'm saying is, Redeemed itachi doesn't even exist. What i'm saying is, Itachi went deep undercover in order to kill Madara. So deep, he had to kill his own clan. So deep, that he had to do the unforgivable to do his mission. Being an ANBU, you gotta do these kinds of things but Itachi's mission was a secret that only two elders, Danzo and the third Hokage knows about.

This isn't about redeeming itachi, we were all been fooled from the beginning, thinking we got Itachi figured out. When in fact, we don't even half of it. This is about some hundred year old feud and a curse or sacrifice that was itachi, between the wood clan and the uchiha clan.

 

I like totally wasn't asking about that, but nevermind anyway.

 

Big bet says Sandaime didn't actually order the massacre. Maybe he made use of it, but Kishi doesn't have the balls to turn his lovable-grandpa character into a cold hearted bastard. Or so I think.

 

I'm still praying he's actually an interesting character. You know, a guy who really does have Konoha's best interest at heart, only he believes in much more aggressive methods.

Another evil "treacherous lieutenant" in the world of shonen manga is about as needed as another lawyer. They're useful for getting a few things done and moving things along a tad, but in the end it's pretty obvious they're scum, and they won't be playing much of a part later on.

 

I just wonder what Sandaime's old team mates exactly know about Naruto's parents and the Uchiha Massacare.

And if Sandiame had to choose between the lives of the Uchiha (whom, we shouldn't forget, were conspiring on something) and the lives of the rest of Konoha, i'm pretty sure he'd choose Konoha and kill the Uchiha.

I'm just tried of the lack of originality and planning Kishi has shown these past chapters. Seriously, manipulative Sandiame? Itachi as the double spy? prophecies and chosen ones? it seems like Kishi wants to ride the HP road to fame...

 

If Sasuke becomes an enemy of Konoha in the sense that he wants to destroy it I hope he kills one of the Rookie 9, preferably Hinata, that way it will be assured that there will be no Naru/Hina canon attempts.

Someone mentioned earlier and I agree, while I think that it would be bad ass if it was Sandaime that gave the order to kill the Uchiha clan I am not sure I want that. If the Harry Potter shows us anything it's that anytime an old man does something questionable they are automatically manipulative evil bastards.

My guess, if Sandaime ordered it, is that the Uchiha and maybe Danzo were working together to overthrow Sandaime. Remember Danzo wanted and still wants to be Hokage. He may have recruited the Uchiha. I bet in the coming chapters we will see Uchiha Sushui (or what ever his name was) and the others meeting with eachother before Itachi made his move against them.

...Oi...Hinata is the bane of the fandom. She, not Sakura, is the Ginny of Naruto. She is the background character with very little screen time and may or may not be the main characters love interest. Just like Ginny in HP, Hinata, is an unknown character that the fandom is in love with.

As for Sakura, first of all, I don't think she has had a single boyfriend in the entire series. Just a crush on Sasuke and possibly, as of Shipuuden, on Naruto. Though, I do have to agree with you on her mood swings. I hate it when the female character can intimidate the main character with her anger.

She has the potential to do something, but if you haven't noticed, Kishimoto seems to have this thing against having strong women ninja. Only truly powerful kunoichi would be Tsunade. Konan could have been if Jiraiya hadn't punk'd her in 10 seconds. Chances are that Sakura's role won't change, not as long as Naruto and Sasuke are the central part of the series.

 

Nah...Sakura's time is about to come. In a interview Kishi stated that right now he was going to focus on Sasuke, then Kakashi after that Sakura. Yeah, Naruto's involvement in the manga is going to be practically 0 for the most of this year.

Hinata=Ginny... Both annoying fangirl's. Ginny is a little better as she changed that in the 5th book. BTW, I don't think she is a slut for dating other people. It is normal, instead of the OMG!!I have one girl that I'll be with the rest of my life...Honestly how many girlfriend/boyfriend's did you have.

I'm all for Naru/Saku in canon though. Fanon, don't really care as long as it is not Hinata. She annoying and actually stalk's him....That is the ultimate nail in the coffin in my eye's.

 

Only redeeming quality about Hinata is that she has some big boobs. ^_^
