There was nothing essentially wrong with ep 1 2 and 3's plot or characters. It was ruined by horrifyingly terrible writing and acting, straight up.

Ok, and it could have used less politics and less canon-fucking (medichlorians...).

But still, the basic plot line and the non-retarded characters (Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, Anakin, Padme, the Sith ect) were fine.

I'm not saying this movie is going to be good, I'm just a bit peeved you're all treating it like G4 treats vidya games -_-.

Revan does show up in a few places in Star Wars but his full history hasn't been put out yet as far as I know. The thing with Darth Bane was right, Bane found a holocron of Revan at a Rakatan temple and supposedly learned everything he knew of the Sith and the Darkside from it including stuff too dangerous for even him like the Thought Bomb.

This is kind of off topic, but for those of you who still might care the Team-Gizka project for KOTOR 2 is almost done. They are on there 7th run beta version right now according to the status report on there website.

Edit: I just did a google on kotor 3 and found this http://www.g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/682811/Bioware_Working_On_New_KOTOR.html. So maybe we will be getting another one after all.

@ Logrus the main reason why I mentioned how terrible the CGI effects were on the trailer is because when your just showing a couple of minutes of scenes you would expect it all to look absolutely amazing to just get people interested in it for that reason.

I believe that was later denied by Bioware. Now that in and of itself doesn't really mean much...

Here's pretty much Bioware's stance on the issue of Kotor 3. No matter how much support it has from the fan community...

Fukken signed. The Clone Wars cartoon was all kinds of awesome.

But the thing about the prequels is that, while they were really fucking awful, they did have some pretty stunning and state-of-the-art visuals. Everything else(acting, writing, acting, plot, acting, Jar-Jar), though, was just plain bad. From what Lucas has revealed, this won't be any better, except for instead of the pretty CGI, it's now a computer generated pile of shit.

I just wish he'd leave it the fuck alone, leave KOTOR games alone, and expand heavily on the Revan time period. The story for that time frame is awesome, and there's so much they could do.

Speaking of which, is that godawfull tv series still supposed to run later this year?

Yup =/ Sounds like they're trying to do it like Stargate, in the way the episodes and effects are structured.

Hmmm. I kinda liked the newer episodes, though nothing can beat the originals, of course.

The only problems I had with them would have to be Jar-Jar (Seriously, who likes him? Lucas didn't even give use the pleasure seeing him die) and Anakin. I hated the young Anakin’s acting. The older one wasn't that bad, but he was written as a brat. What would Padme, who was queen of a planet at age fourteen, want with him?
