Where would we be without naruto? 'sigh' This manga Kishi created is amazing in and of it self because of so many things he created are original, based on others such as ancient poems, mythologies etc..., he incorporated it to his manga.

But like every popular thing to be recognized by millions around the world, criticisms comes to bite the makes ass like no tomorrow. Example. JK rowling.

 

Actually, I'm pretty sure that you're the only one here that still "loves" the manga. I'm positive that I'm not the only one still reading it at this point just to see it end.

 

I still read it for the sames reasons that I read Harry Potter for. Because I have invested a couple years into it and I can't just walk away. It's like reading 280 of a 310 page book and stopping. Makes no sense. I have read this far I might as well see how the thing ends. Who knows, we may be pleasantly surprised on how everything turns out....doubt it. As long as Naruto kills either Pain or Madara I will be sorta content. If Sasuke kills them both then I am let down.

I'm beginning to think Neji had the right idea. It seems like we're fated to go through this same damn discussion every five pages or so.

I'm back to being ambivalent about the manga again. Itachi as a peace lover just doesn't sit well with me, and making Sasuke into an emo bit-Avenger seems a bit of a strange way to make him stronger. Didn't he love the village? Why would he force his own brother, and the last Uchiha in Konoha, onto a path that would surely lead to him going nukenin?

Bah, I'm more annoyed at this than I thought.

Meh, chapter wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. The peace loving Itachi created a whole new level of fail.....Itachi was 4 when he fought in the 3rd Great War wtf mate! That's uber young. So, when Itachi was just entering the war at 4 years old, Kakashi was just making Jounin at 13? <---Trying to get my time line straight here.

What pisses me off is that Kishimoto has turned this great character, Itachi, into a fucking cliche.

 

Aye, Itachi was already a fail character before now, somehow, it is even worse.

actually, he isn't. Out of all the characters in Naruto, I think Itachi is the one whose characterization Kishi kept the most consistent and stable. Too bad the same can't be said for everyone else.

 

Mage is right... aside from murdering his family and putting a couple people in Tsukiyomi... he never did anything evil. I think.

 

The only "evil" thing Itachi did was kill his best friend, mother and father. But did he actually kill them is another thing. Because we know that Madara was involved. But Itachi was seen standing over them when Sasuke ran into the room. And he has the Mangekyou sharingan, which is gained by killing one's best friend. Or did he do it Kakashi's way, which we have no idea how he did it to begin with. The series needs to start answering questions and start concluding its story.

 

I'm sorry but this shit mandra is puting out is such bull. You all probably notice that he has his own sharigan activated while dishing the BS to the bedridden Sasuke.

Thus, Itachi is not psycho-"bring peace by killing family" or "never hurt my baby brother, but put him under Tsukiyomi cause he didn't hate me enough"

But wouldn't have Sasuke's Sharingan activated when Madara looked at him? Like in the last chapters. But he wouldn't really need his sharingan to fool Sasuke. Madara did sound quite convincing and Sasuke still is in an emotional conflict.

 

Here's the bigger question. To what ends is this bullshit being dished out for? To get Sasuke to join Akatsuki? To make him even more of an 'emotional wreck'? To use Sasuke for some other end entirely?

'Cause honestly, the way Kishimoto is wanking this shit tells me this is going to run on for quite a while longer. =/
