good point. with all the super powers it has, i wouldn't be surprise if the Sharingan allow the user to become the ultimate bullshitter.

However, that's not a good basis to judge whether he is actually bullshitting. We've seen through out canon, that the Sharingan unconsciously activates during times of stress, be it emotional or physical. So, this telling of history may be stressful to Madara. So it could be that the anger he feels at being betrayed by his family and friends is the cause.

It's a highly believable possibility that Itachi was a peaceful person AND that he was the ideal ninja which kinda creates internal conflicts that we see when he killed Shusui. We've seen the way he's interacted with lil' Sasuke before, kind and playful.

Him killing the whole Uchiha family to bring peace to the village (which he puts as his first priority, like an ideal ninja) caused him great stress. and still did until he died. So who better to relieve him of that stress? His brother, who is still naive about the true Uchiha clan image and history. So he manipulates his brother to holistically hate him. This way on the battlefield, Sasuke won't think twice about dealing the death blow.

Hehe, Itachi's so badass planning this from the beginning. only if he could have rightfully passed his powers to Naruto than the Wanker.

knowing how psychologically fucked up ninja become (Gai, Orochi, Sasori) and how much of a bad writer Kishi is, i wouldn't be surprised.

I bet you the only way to beat the Rin'nigan is to have the Sharingan. The whole "Rin'nigan greatest doujutsu evar RAWR!" I call bullshit on. Unless the Rin'nigan can bend reality, mimick the opponents jutsu and every other technique, use illusions, use fire hotter than the sun, trap people in a ever lasting genjutsu and who knows what the fuck the eternal mangekyo sharingan can do, I will not be convinced on the Rin'nigans power.

 

Well, so far the rin'negan allows a guy to:

• Share his consciousness between bodies
• Summon anything (human or animal)
• Absorb jutsu
• ROCKET FALCON PUNCH!
• Mess up chakra through a funky weapon (may be just the weapon though)
• Use all six forms of chakra (all six elemental chakra types it says in my translation)

Pretty powerful so far, and Kishimoto has apparently said it surpasses the Sharingan in its insight ability. Seems Nagato copied and mastered all the jutsu Jiraiya taught him before he was 10 too, so it's possibly just an upgraded sharingan.

Just a random thought, but would bijuu chakra count as its own separate type? It would explain how the statue thing works, with Pein probably being the one to have created it, and would give yet another person power over the Kyuubi (which is probably what Kishimoto is going for >_>).

Jesus, having a demon inside of you shouldn't be so damn useless against every evil villain and his mum. The only proper bad guy it's worked against was Haku, and Gaara, though that was more Naruto than Kyuubi... everyone else has ways to circumvent it.

Another random thought, since I have many of them - we know Naruto has the 'ability' to change people, and Pein is probably the one most in need of a change. I foresee a grand fight between Naruto and Pein, with Pein being converted to the Book of Nar- wait, wrong story - to Naruto's Way of the NinjaTM and then going on to help Naruto pwn Sasuke into becoming a hippie ninja.
