Hey, I'm currently in a bit of a H/Hr mood and I was looking for something good to read. I'm not a Hermione fan in general so I haven't read many of the 'big' ones.

Anything in the region of >70000 words would be great.

If you are into fluffy material, anything by chem prof is probably a decent place to begin.

I'm not as much of a fan as I used to be, but I still read the updates and enjoy most of them. He wouldn't do well here though... too many Hr haters.

Also, the author AngryHermione has two good stories "HP and the Lost Demon" and "Message in a Bottle". The latter, unfortunately, has not been updated for some time. However, if you can stand the 'illness', Lost Demon is a good read, and probably influenced me a fair bit.

Otherwise you'll after ask someone else. Any other H/Hr fics I only read once and then left 'em alone.

I'll stick my neck out and put these here:

    1. The Meaning of Father
    http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3890832/1

This is a super!Hermione story but with a really cool!Harry and a touch of Ginny bashing, not too much. But there will be some Harry-Ginny fluff torture to suffer through though. Is it worth it? As this is a HHr story not really...but since you are reading this stuff, I'll leave that to you to decide.

    2. Caught in the Past
    http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3511877/1/

This is a fluff fest with no magic and is placed in medieval Britain. Angsty drama and some action (only implied though, rarely explicit), but depends on your mood I guess...HHr fluff stuff, a bit ridiculous really; I keep it around for my amusement.

And just for jollies, this is the last one:
    3. Now let the night be dark

This is not a HHr actually (this is canon pairing *shudder*) but Harry's been ignoring Ginny so far so I'm pleased...there is a lot of HHr interation though, check it out.

    AUTO-FAIL. That is all.

To be honest, I've enjoyed H/Hr one-shots, ficlets or short fics far more than I ever enjoyed the long, multi-chaptered ones. I guess it could be due to them not meeting my expectations.

I'd recommend Jane99's HP and The Eye of the Storm (on Portkey), if it wasn't abandoned. The writing is decent and the author really takes the phrase "slow build-up to the relationship" to a whole new level. Same goes for Avenged Sevenfold on Mugglenet, though I find that a little too angsty and it seems to be abandoned too.

As far as completed ones go, check out Vox Corporis by MissAnnThropic. It's long (and I really mean long), well-written, and I like the author's take on becoming an Animagus.

You could check out Lynney's Magic Never Dies too. I didn't find it all that great, but apparently DLPers found it worthy of the Library.

Edit: I'd like to know of any long and decent H/Hr fic too. Those that I've dug out seemed to be utter shit.

    Edit2:
Um, the author mentioned the fic will start off with canon pairings. He did not say it will end up H/G and R/Hr.
