    Go to hell...Harry/Daphne is much better than Harry/Padma at any time, though of course if the author feels otherwise then I don't at all mind seeing how he makes it happen; should be interesting...though Fleur's interaction with Harry really has come out the best so far...that really would be a cool final pairing.

    Looks like its going be one crazy ball for Harry once the crap with Ginny is resolved though...

    Padma = canon proven hawtness.

    Daphne = nobody.

    Fanon has created an unnatainable ice queen profile for Daphne that has people foaming at the mouth.

    Daphne do not be certified ice queen. I'm betting she takes it up the arse from Goyle.

    H/Fleur > H/Padma > H/Daphne > H/Hr.

    This is the way of things. The fact that I have listed them in order of physical beauty is a coincidence.

    And because this is DLP, I just know someone will dispute that's so here's the reasoning:

    Fleur is obviously the best looking of the lot.

    Padma is said to be the prettiest girl in the year (along with her twin) so that puts her above Daphne and Hermione.

    Hermione isn't ever said to be that beautiful, except at the Yule Ball, and that's because she had gone crazy with trying to make herself look better. Also, the contrast from how she looked normally would have made her look more beautiful than she actually was. So I put Daphne above Hermione.

    Agreed...I still prefer Padma though.

    Yeesh. Don't say things like that...anybody taking it up the arse from Goyle/Crabbe/Snape/Flint/Troll is not a good mental picture...

    What about house elf's and giants?

    Padma is canon proven hotness? Wasn't she like one of the last girls to get a date for the Yule Ball?

    Or is that me quoting the movie, having read the book like six years ago . . .

    Regardless, I don't think we know enough about either character to say which is better. It's pretty much WhiteSlytherinOFC vs IndianRavenclawOFC.

    Given that, Padma was definitely going to be the pairing for Harry in KIP before I made him two years older, so I get where you're coming from.

    After Harry and Ron got dates with the Patil twins, Seamus (or Dean - they're the same person really) said something along the lines of "I still don't see how you two got dates with the two prettiest girls in the year".

    Taure, we do need to look at sources of information don't we? Dean Thomas has described Padma and her twin as the prettiest girls in the year. However, there is one filthy little detail about little Dean Thomas.

    Whom has our Miss Universe judge dated in his sixth year?

    [IMG]

    To me, it seems that Dean Thomas is not quite the appropriate judge for beauty in his female peers.

    Add in the Slytherin bias he probably has and the Daphne vs. Padma debate becomes even more confusing.

    Of course I could be pulling at straws here since Ginny was supposed to be moderately attractive, but in the end it all comes down to personal preference.

    At least Fleur has come out on top.

    A little off topic here people. I'm sure there another thread somewhere where you can argue your preferences. This isn't it for those that missed the title.

    Hey, Mini-mod stfu please. It's relevent to the story so stop trying to curry favour. In case you hadn't noticed characters seem to vary from fic to fic so this discussion is in fact in tune with the story.

    Go swallow cock somewhere else.

    So I like the latest couple of chapters, even though bits of them felt more like filler than real elements to the story. The Assassin!Tonks bit was especially likeable, if somewhat underdone. I like the realistic conclusion to Harry/Fleur...even if you've left enough of her emotional response open to change. I'm looking forward to seeing what Padma and Hermione come up with...and hoping the wait won't be quite so long this time. Good job, scary.

    Actually, I've proven that Harry/Fleur > Harry/AnyOtherCanonFemale. For those that missed it, here's the short version: Fleur's the only Canon-Babe (PotterLaw), Babe > NormaleFemale (CommonSense), thus Fleur > AnyOtherCanonFemale, add 'Harry/' on both sides, and you get the result. And now you.

    Yes but Fleur isn't human furfag. People seem to forget that her face is actually SAVAGE HARPIE LADY in disguise.

    EDIT: I actually missed alot of posts in this thread.

    @Bucks. Fuck you.
    @Methene. This was before she dosed him with Love potion in order to make Harry jealous. And anyway Dean was using her , he's a p/mp
    @Joe. I actually think H/Padma would have worked well there...

    Actually, Victoire Weasley is second canon-proven babe, as Fleur's daughter.

    I've bolded the important part. Plus, she's only 1/4 Veela.

    And what the fuck happens if he stays out in the pub too late?

    "Honeey guess what me and Ron did to the muggle behind the bar?" said Harry in a drunken slur.

    "you said you'd take out the bins. The bins are still in the kitchen. DIE WRETCHED HUMAN!!!! FLAMETHROWER ATTACK!" shrieked the harpy lady.

    Problem is solved; they have house elf slaves.

    More likely it would be like this. Please Bear in mind, since Seratin kindly mentioned that Dobby hit the proverbial bucket, a fact which had slipped my mind, that said Dobby in this scene is Dobby II, nephew of Dobby's twice removed, aunt's husband's friend's sister he met in the park while walking the dog, named after Dobby in a mere coincidence.

    "Dobby," said Fleur in a sweet voice, "where are you?" The pitiful elf trembled in fear behind the dining room chair. If Master Harry Potter only knew how his wife was when she was home alone. Dobby tried, he warned the master he did, but no one listens to poor Dobby.

    "Dobby, I know you're in here," said Fleur. Gathering his wits about him, Dobby peeked from behind the chair.
    "Yes, Mistress," said the house elf, tucking his ears.
    "I told you, rare beef steak," shrieked Fleur, her features beginning to alter into an avian form, her beautiful visage turning dreadful. The cutlery in her perfectly manicured hands was beginning to turn red hot.
    "Yes, Mistress, Dobby tries, Mistress, Dobby not know..."

    "Silence impudent elf," screamed Fleur as a fireball erupted from her hands scorching the elf's rags. Dobby began to scream as blisters erupted on his skin, and ran from the room.

    Her features returning to normal, Fleur calmly set the plate aside, deciding to wait for her husband to return from work and eat out. Suddenly the door bell rang, and Fleur ran to the door. After a quick kiss, Harry took off his cloak, looking around for the usually present Dobby to take it.

    "Darling, where's Dobby?" asked Harry, confused at the usually jumpy elf's lack of servitude.
    "He's indisposed dear, I gave him the afternoon off," said Fleur smiling, "Now why don't you put the cloak back on and let's go to the Warlock's Feast for dinner?"
    "Whatever you wish, my dear," said Harry, holding the door open for his wife. As he was looking away, his wife's avian features flashed for a fraction of a second.

    As the two Disapparated, Dobby's sobs could be heard in the now empty manor. Master Harry Potter would never believe him now...
