Heh, nice idea of gaining Voldy's murderous impulses. I was thinking that the removal/wearing off of all the memory blocks Dumbles probably placed on him from the Dursley treatments over the years could also make him go axy-crazy. (I can just picture the headmaster looking at his many smoking, buzzing, farting instruments going, "Oh noes! Harry is screaming and clawing his eyes out again. Better go fix it.")

Either that, or Harry could accidentally blend himself with a boggart - thus going nutso while knowing what everyone's greatest fear is and being compelled to act on it.

Crabbe always seemed to be too stupid to realize that he should be afraid of something. Pre book 7, Draco could have said, "Hey, Crabbe. There's a bunch of nundu's roaming around out there. Go and kick them in their naughty places." And he'd probably go lumbering off.

Maybe turn him into his namesake and drop him off at an all-you-can-eat seafood place? Bury him up to his neck in sand and watch as the tide comes in? Rip out his magical core, turn him into a street-walker girl with a huge libido and wipe his memories of anything magical?

In any case, it would be interesting to read this little developed plot bunny. Good luck.

 

Oh, and if you are going the "Saw" route don't forget to leave Harry's calling card ... maybe "lulz" etched into their skin or a "I did it for the lulz" written on the wall in rooster blood above Ginny's body.

Which leads to me wonder what the wizarding Karma Sutra is like. And more importantly, how one of the characters uses it wrong.

 

HP and the Sword of Gryffindor has a wizard's sex book very similar to the Karma Sutra. It's a "Sex Magic" book.

The story is not DLP worthy but has some LOL scenes, and is a very strong R rated story. It's H/Hr and R/L. I am by no means recommending this story for the library, but you asked and I have provided. Link below

I was only suggesting a method for "death by misadventure" via magical books. Hermione is the likely target, though Percy being killed by one of his notebooks, files, or a filing cabinet wouldn't be too bad either. Perhaps towering stacks of unfiled paperwork collapse on top of him.

 

I'd love to see someone (Malfoy, maybe?) killed Freddy Krueger style.
