Loved it! Your ability to write action is just superb.

I liked seeing how Harrys tutelage has actually made Amanda into a skilled fighter, mostly equal to atleast an average death eater. Though I also liked it that she was unable to defeat Bellatrix since that would have been a bit too skilled.

I do kinda wonder why Neville's name was on the prophecy orb? I mean is it not obvious at this point that the prophecy concerns Harry since he was the one that Voldemort went after and was "marked" by. Why would Nevilles name still be there? Though I suppose thats not a big deal.

The cliffhanger was evil! I hope your new enthusiasism lasts because I really really want to see what happens next!

 

It's probably because of the Dursley's house burning down. The Unspeakables or whoever it is that label those might have assumed Harry was dead, and marked Neville's name on it as a precaution.

 

Great Chapter, I loved the fight between Amanda and Bella. Voldermorts' most loyal servant against Harrys' only human friend. And Amanda killing someone is not what I was going to expect so soon. Great piece of work.

 

Harry's apprentice vs Voldemort's... I wasn't expecting that!

I wonder whether Harry will be elated that Amanda used the spells he had taught her or whether he'll be disappointed that it took her so long to kill her adversary...

 

This new chapter was really awesome and I laughed more than was probably healthy to my ribs and lungs.


The plot is ingenious, the humour is just splendid and I love every minute I spend reading this story.

 

Absolutely amazing, as usual. Amanda's foray into the dark was very well done and perfectly believable. I suppose the only question now is whether or not it was a temporary slip or something more permanent.

The only spelling mistake that I noticed is

Should be 'Amanda shrieked.'

Neville is so stupid. However, Amanda atleast had the brains to send Harry an owl. Amanda definitely listened to Darth Sidious and gave into her anger. What I am anxious to see is how the torture affected her long term.

Excellent fight scene. I especially loved the part between Amanda and Bellatrix. As someone put it in before me: a fight of two apprentices - beautiful and promising.

Also, the ending - with Fiendfyre starting to burn the shelves of DoM - I got the mental image of Harry walking amongst them with his Knight Sword (all blazing) in one hand and his wand in another. Cliche? Yeah. Looking awesome and badass? Hell,yes!

Waiting patiently for more.

 

The only criticism I have is you have Bellatrix say "you fool" ( or was it idiot ) too much.
Why not blond twit or something. Apply some of that Potter Sass to her...

Other Than that, I can't wait to see Potter swoop in and tell Amanda he told her so.

Though he probably would have added in something about her gender and menstruation cycle.

Nice, the Goddess of Action , Shezza is back, and what a fantastic comeback it was Shezza. I thoroughly enjoyed reading Part I of Chapter 29.

I'm kinda confused by the beginning though. If I recall canon correctly, Neville's name wasn't on the Prophecy, so why is is his name on the Prophecy here?

Speaking of Neville, how dumb is the little shit? I mean he gets a fucking letter, and he immediately leaves for the Department of Mysteries. At least Harry had the presence of mind to check if Sirius was at his home.

The fight at the Department of Mysteries was the best part of the chapter, especially little Amanda's slow descent into the darkness, which was quite believable I will be very curious to the reaction to this development from everyone involved. Does Amanda continue down this road or does she go back to her straight path? How does the Carpenter family react to this? Will Charity finally break the scale of cuntness, due to this? How does Harry react to this, or does he even care? These are all questions that need to be answered.

BTW I can't wait for Harry to make an appearance. I'm imagining his entrance to be like some old Greek God, clamoring for vengeance, instead of shooting lightning bolts, Harry will be spraying Hellfire everywhere. Alright I admit it, I'm giddy with excitement.

 

Progress on the Amanda front is quite nice. I find myself hoping that Harry eventually starts thinking of her as a minion (obviously she would have a different perspective on this, but I doubt he'd care).

An minor AU detail, I guess. It sort of makes sense, if it was recorded before the deaths of Lily and James, so that at the time it would still be unclear who it referred to.

 

There are so many changes from cannon I don't see why someone couldn't just rename the participants of the prophecy for the hell of it, unless Sheeza tweaked it.

We've been assuming it was the same one since dumbledore hinted at it way back when. Who's to say with Meciel in play the prophecy won't be completely different.

 

This was amazingly awesome. The only problem was, Amanda didn't use a spell name for the fiendfyre. I would think she would need to speak the name for such a complex spell, one that she had never managed before.

However, Capable!Amanda 4tw. Maybe now she and Harry can make rough, pain filled love.

 

Shezza you are just awesome, Your action scenes have always been great but finally having Amanda go dark side and kill someone with Fiendfyre was just full of win. All this needs now is the epic three way battle between Voldemort, Dumbledore and Harry.

 

Great chapter. After having reading it again, I just have one complaint.

No. Just nooo. I really don't like the bolded part. When writers say that someone screams forcing all their anger or whatever emotion is the flavor of the day into their spell/wand, that's fine. But when they actually write out the scream, we have a problem. It reads awkward to me, and I honestly cringed when I read it the first time.

Maybe I'm the only one, but this really bothers and annoys me.
