    I seem to remember Harry finding the Resurrection Stone to be quite useful despite it having had a horcrux in it. Being able to see the dead is quite a powerful gift, if used correctly.

    Weak... I had an idea similar to this only it was post war AU and Harry was trained as a weapon. After the war Harry realizes that with Voldemort dead his purpose is gone and as a weapon in a time of peace he has no use. So he goes crazy taking out the remnants of the Death Eaters and when he kills them all he realizes that battle is the only purpose he has so he starts killing random people with the purpose of killing until he's killed.
