He said that Lasciel is coming back, not Lash. ;) I'm pretty sure what he meant is that someone else got a hold of the coin and accepted it. I remember seeing that whether or not Lash would come back was still up in the air.

Heres a thought to make you cry at night. Imagine if Kincaid got ahold of one of these coins. He is already supposed to be one of the most dangerous beings in the world. I dont give a shit what old nic said. He was scared shitless of Kincaid.

If he can actually pick up a coin that is a really scary thought 'cause he is already one of the scarier characters. I wonder if he actually can take up a coin though, I mean he is supposed to be half demon. I thought that it was said that the coins could only be picked up by mortals.

This is a pretty good theory and it has some solid "evidence" to base it on.
We will see what will happen and if it comes like you said than you can always say 'I told you so'

Kincaid and a Fallen consorting together is actually a very interesting idea. Some of you are thinking along the lines of him turning against Dresden but what if he aids Harry instead of joining the other Denarians, the way Butcher writes Kincaid it certainly appears that a Fallen wouldn't be able to crush his will easily.

Dresden believed that Thomas was in danger of picking up a coin, despite already having a demon inside of him. Now granted, the White Court are more human than most other things that go bump in the night, but I don't think that being part demon is the same thing as immunity from the fallen. Gard may fall in this same category, as Dresden suspects she also might have taken a coin.

I hope he doesn't end up taking the Knight's sword, but for the love of love, if Butcher foreshadows anymore about Dresden taking something, someone will have to write a super!Dresden fic that makes uber!Potter look like a retarded three year old. The man's got two of the three Swords of the Cross, an offer for the Winter mantle, a previous offer of a Denarian coin, and potentially a damaged shadow of said fallen still in his head, and... soul fire. Nevermind whatever power fate has gifted him with, and the foundations of his own intercreature army... Resisting temptation is great and all, but at some point something's gotta give.

But from what the readers have seen, it's really not in Dresden's nature to give in to temptation. He's a stubborn soab throughout the entire series thus far, and it's been proven that not even almost-certain death will make him give in. So it looks like someone will have to write that fic. *looks pointedly at Vlad*

He needs to hurry the fuck up and give into SOMETHING, as I'm tired of the guy getting his face kicked in constantly, and barely eeking out the win. A few times, sure, but every book? I wanna see him go apeshit and tear stuff up, not being nursed constantly

Ahh good point Vlad, forgot about that. I wonder if there actually are limits then or if I'm just getting myself all confused ...

/me goes to reread Death Masks.

Edit: Midknight that avatar is so full of win ...

I agree with Immolo about his theory concerning the LeFay name. But it also may be about Dresden's bloodline. Like Dresden is related to the actual Morgan LeFay, since they make mention of the original Merlin, you'd think Butcher would have Morgan LeFay.

Also maybe the reason for his Outsider power thing could be a result of his bloodline like the Loup Garou curse.

Found this over at the Jim Butcher forums.

That was said by Butcher at a signing or an interview fairly recently.

On Butcher's website somewhere, I heard 23 in total. So we're only halfway, thank God!

Let's hope he can keep us interested that long. I'd hate to get board of this series.

I wonder how long it will take him to finish... atleast a decade in my opinion

If he can keep up with his tradition of getting better and better with every book for 23 books...Dear God,he would be an absolute genius (he is, but even more) to pull that of.

That is SO MUCH BETTER than 7 Harry Potter books (and two don't count because they suck beyond belief).

Are you sure? Didn't Butcher make a tradition of having each two words of his covers have the same number of letters? I read it somewhere on his forums and it would disqualify "Stars and Stones".

    Wait a minute

Doesn't it say in one of the books basically that Ebaneezar insisted on a SG within the first few minutes?! 99% sure it does.
