    Now I'm not trying to mock this piece of fiction. But...come on! Somehow that line disturbs me more than anything else. And on another level why do they always have Voldemort speaking like he's from the 1700s...he grew up in the fifties, was raised in a muggle orphanage, why can't he speak normally. He's supposed to be eloquent and persuasive.

    The day someone casually says "I'm almost spent" is the day I consign myself to only reading non-fiction.

    na della this is just another piece of evidence to go to my theory that harry was jerking off at the beginning of the story.

    Okay, there is no way Im expecting a whole lotta support for any story and I am pleasantly surpised to find how many others at least give this bit half a chance, but what's up with all the bashing of the whole idea in the first place? The whole point of fanfiction, half of the time, is making one, more, or all the characters just a little OC in order to twist one moment of cannon into fannon and, for enjoyment purposes only, create another imaginative world that uses Rowlings characters with plenty of creative license.

    The stories that use the characters at little to no OC ideas, few and far between as they are, may be story like in that they belong in Rowlings dream book. That isn't fully what fiction is.

    FICTION = nonfict.
    NONFICTION = fict.

    I suspect that you are referring to this posts:

    The first post rated the story 5/5 so that can't be it...
    And the second post is from someone with 11 posts. Who fucking cares?

    So... what are you whining about, bitch?

    I "bash" the idea itself because it's intellectually lazy, boring, unlikable shlock endlessly perpetuated by talentless hacks incapable of imagination, creativity, artistry, or even base proficiency. There is no such thing as a good time travel fic for the simple reason that someone who is willing to depend upon such an insipid contrivance to drive their story is incapable of producing good work, end of story.

    Something is either "the whole point of fan fiction" or "the point of fan fiction half of the time." I would tell you to make up your mind, but you'd be wrong either way. The point of fanfiction is to convey a genuinely interesting narrative that relies on the characters, settings, and conventions of an established work in lieu of an original foundation. The true measure of good fanfiction is not only in the strength of its narraitive, but in how logically it "fits" within the cast set by the original work or is a logical extrapolation of same. Given that you've confused a two-chapter time-traveling-Harry-in-Azkaban fic in which Harry trades pithy quips with the man who killed his parents while undergoing unbearable mental torture after being betrayed by all of this friends with good fiction, it's clear that this distinction is lost on you.

    In conclusion, please never write fanfiction. If you have, please cease immediately. You are a perfect example of everything that's wrong with the HP fandom; from your defense of ridiculous contrivances as "creative licence" to your indignant bleating whenever someone has the temerity to tell you that the story you posted was awful trash produced by talentless hacks much like yourself.

    You obviously didn't read any of the good time travel stories. Time travel is a genre - you can't say the whole genre is unoriginal, or unlikeable. It's like saying fluff is unoriginal because in every story from the beginning the cave man gets the cave woman. It all depends what you do with it. Sure, a lot of people here don't like fluff at all, but if they are presented with a great story they will still read it.

    When the only thing you can talk to -for years- is Voldemort, and he is in your head, you eventually start just accuse him and scream at him. Then you ask why he did it, and so on... Also don't forget that both Harry and Voldemort have changed because of the merge, so Harry is more 'dark' and Voldemort is more 'light'.

    Also, he wasn't betrayed by his friends, so I wonder if you actually read this story or only the reviews.

    The story was alright, nothing spectacular, but then again you aint going to get fresh/original/spectacular stories now-a-days. It was a good read to past the time though and here's hoping for some Harry/Fem!Harry interaction! Though its been done before where older H tutors younger Fem!H then get it on.

    Kaz, Grub: Can you show off your E-PEEN's in private please?

    Just review the story and get on with it. (just nipping this in the bud before it gets out of hand)

    Kaz: Your opinion doesn't count because you're female.
    Grub: You're Jewish, yours counts for less. ;)

    And... realised I didn't rate it yet. 4/5 It's not the best of it genre, but there's just something about it that I really like.

    This was an odd one - but not awful, really. Amusing at points, while also containing a couple original elements. Unfortunately, nuhuh's "Harry-Goes-Back-Time-And-Ends-Up-In-World-Where-It's-A-Girl-Version-Of-Himself" is far superior to this one in just about every way, except for the bikini beach party scene. It's stupid to say all time travel stories are terrible, because some of the best stories are of that genre - although also some of the worst. I won't bother getting into details, because I am clearly correct.

    It's okay, but not great. I assign this average story a:
    3/5

    Not quite library worthy.

    Not a bad little story.

    4/5

    As for H/fH, Imma have to be a buzzkill here and point out that it looks like we're paralleling 3rd year. >> 13-24 is a bit extreme even for DLP.

    He just came out of prison, he will fuck anything. That is, if the story will continue at all.

    Okay, geeze. Bashing is what you do best I guess.

    And what's with all the hope that Harry is going to screw his alternative self? I don't have problems with it, so don't go misreading me there, but some of you must be really sexcrazed or something.

    Voldemort and Harry are rubbing off (DONT SAY IT!) on each other mentally and stuck in a single body. And why I wouldn't go near the man that murdered my parents and had tried to kill me a hundred plus times, its understandable why the connection between them backlashed and... merged them.
